Hey, Vam would like me to inform you all that just in case of Max finding out about all this, he may still have access to old Discord servers Vam left a long time ago and may take any messages they (Or anyone else involved in this situation) have said in them out of context.

If Max does make any kind of response or post which shows Discord messages from anyone, please be critical and be aware they can very easily be faked. We would not put it past him to stoop to the level of doctoring screenshots.

that was about me. he didn’t even fucking bother trying to make it sound like it wasn’t. the context was that an artist i found called a minor character their husband, which i didn’t give a shit about at first.

the reason i said “they’re probably like 20″ was because i found out they posted a ton of genderbends (not because they called the character their husband), and i was referencing how the vast majority of freaks we’ve found are in their early 20s. i’m pretty sure the way i found out the artist drew genderbends in the first place bc break himself joined in the conversation like “oh yeah i hate that artist since they drew genderbends” or some bullshit like that lmao

i don’t have screenshots of the exchange since he deleted the server it happened in unfortunately.

this isn’t the only time he’s done it either, another time he’s done it having been the shit about the sippy cup, and i absolutely would not put it past him to pull more of this bullshit to demonize us and make himself seem like the poor victim here.

Hey Anon. I don’t know how long this has been in the inbox, but I’m going to try my best to answer since you seem concerned.

To clarify before we begin, I am not Vam. I am one of Vam’s friends, he just gave me access to this account as while he’s no longer on Tumblr because of this, he wants people to know what truly happened.

To my knowledge (A.K.A what Vam has told me about this situation), Max/Break/Shroom/Whatever names he uses (I don’t want to check as, to be perfectly honest, I would not touch his blogs with a ten-foot pole), who currently uses the urls breakreim, breaksart and 18memory (But previously used twoyearz, kindnolonger and enejpeg), attempted to distance Vam from one of his friends and his partner for reasons I will mention. After realizing this, Vam would eventually end up trying to get away from Max. They have said to me that the way they went about this (Which was to shut this blog down and move to another one) was not the best way to handle it, but it was a kneejerk reaction they had as they realized it was a major red flag.

He has also attempted to pin Vam’s friend (Who is a CSA victim) as a pedophile for owning a sippy cup, which they owned for sensory reasons and not for anything such as a/geplay or D/DLG activity. Something he refuses to mention is how he said he thought it was “weird” (Even though he was fully aware why they had the cup), which caused them to apologize and then throw the cup away. He has painted this situation as if they openly said it was for some kind of kink activity, and then refused to stop mentioning it.The friend in question is an adult (But a very recent adult at that, they met Max the week of their Eighteenth birthday), but they constantly made sure not to overstep their boundaries with anyone in the friend group (Who were minors) and asked them to tell them if they were making anyone uncomfortable.

Max did not tell them, and instead went to Vam to frequently vent his frustrations about them. He then attempted to distance himself from them, but since they and Vam are close, he tried bringing Vam along with him. He attempted to distance Vam from his partner as they were close to that friend as well.

There is more to this situation than what I just explained, but this is essentially all you need to know to answer your question. Vam is safe, but most likely won’t come back for a long time because of all this.

he came back to them shortly after we all remade wondering what happened. keep in mind this is the person he was attempting to cut off in the first place.

his “breakdown” was his attempt to cut off them and another friend of mine, in which he left servers with them in it, and invited me to a private discourd they would not get an invitation to. he tried to keep me around as a “friend” but i remade and went quiet along with them because i realized this is, in fact, a terribly fucking shitty thing to do.

he’s now been vagueing us on his blog for that sweet sweet tumblr clout he can’t get enough of (but keep in mind that he thinks anyone who vagues is a pussy!). glad to know he values meaningless internet points, popularity, and bullshit gatekeeping discourse over real people he said he “cared” about and “loved”.

not to mention he’s been vagueing about how we cut him off, but it was him attempting to cut people off for not agreeing with the ways they try to live their life when they don’t have the same privilege as others that got him into this mess in the first place, and he’s now attempting to spin it around like he’s the innocent one who got ganged up on.

so fuck you too, max. fuck you and your clout-chasing hellscape of a mentality that has caused us distress, loss of people we trusted, and trauma.  but it was all in the name of gatekeeping discourse, so that makes it okay, right? /s

i’m starting to realize the “friendship where we bully each other” thing is a complicated subject for me, because as a survivor of bullying and my interests being mocked for basically my entire life, i don’t really find it funny or endearing when pals do it. i don’t mind gentle insults and inside jokes, but idk, there has to be a point where you go “maybe i shouldn’t cut on my friend’s new oc or special interest” and stop yourself. i think we should all try a little harder to know that boundary and not put our friends in those situations

My best friend and I used to greet each other with insults (“hey bitch!” “wassup slut?”) and generally poke fun at each other all the time. It’s how we showed affection, just constant little pokes and prods and minor nuisances. But I noticed that these exchanges were wearing her down through little behavioral ticks, like she’d go quiet or her laugh wasn’t as bubbly. So I changed how I show her affection and now scream “hi Dawn I love you :D” at the top of my lungs when I say hi. And I hear her stifle a giggle and she answers with either “love you too” or “hiiiii, love you!!!” depending on her mood at the time.

It’s fine to have a close friendship where you can pretend to be mean to each other and you both understand that none of that meanness is real. But the second it starts to feel real to either of you, that behavior should change.
