That was a strong start to S2 of TMP. We now can confirm that Colin was straight up eaten because he tried to destroy the machine, Gwen is one of the worst liars even though she lies all the time, Alice is queen, and we don’t know where exactly Sam is. The Alchemy themes talked about in the Q&A are very prevalent in this episode but we return to the fear theme in the place where Sam ended up. I personally think Sam ended up in a 3rd universe the Sectionverse because by the end of TMA the fears get sent away. The line “when I saw the Archivist die” goes so hard. The watched becomes the watcher.

Started my first relisten of TMA and I don’t really rewatch shows and it is odd. Like knowing who dies I can see the foreshadowing to it, knowing the fears I can properly address the statements like I am The Archivist himself. Also S1 John sounds alot like how he did during The Bifrost Incident.
