"W-Well…" The blue haired boy began, in a flustered mess. Although he was no stranger to Nagisa’s teasing, there were certain points when he was unable to distinguish the jokes from the genuine. At this point he had safety assumed the latter, and his face became a light shade of pink as a result. 

"Er, well.. It was just my natural reaction."

"Of course!" he nodded, fully aware that his reaction was as natural as Haru only responding to the word pool or water included in a sentence. His lips looked to be curled in quite the playful smile, but what he had said was the sole truth. Even when Rei had gotten flustered like this--which was more than often, he found it well...cute.
