I was inspired by the black-out poems made by @playing-with-colors and decided to apply it to the locked tomb series!
Palamedes my beloved
good movie
everyone give it up for jenny shindanai, the most normal and chill character to ever be put to paper (<- lying)
PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS | 2x05: We Check In to C.C.’s Spa & Resort
the girl ever
Okay but I LOVED that they chose to give the killing blow to Joyce. Each time she brought that axe down onto Vecna’s neck, the camera panned to each teenager physically flinching as they watched. You saw the older kids—Jonathan, Nancy, who had to grow up far too quickly in order to protect their siblings—shudder in revulsion with the same intensity as the younger kids. Each of these children has had to resort to incredible violence to stay alive up until this point.
It is so important, thematically, that it was Joyce—the only parent, the only "real" adult present—who took on the burden of executing the monster so that the children would not have to.
MAX MAYFIELD & LUCAS SINCLAIR Stranger Things, Chapter Eight: The Rightside Up
I need to see Max smoking a joint in the epilogue
#holy shit
I saw you. Waiting for me, playing my…my song.
I just learned that the Sahara desert used to be green and full of life 5,000 years ago (with animals and rivers and even people)- that means Andy is old enough to REMEMBER WHEN THE SAHARA DESERT WASN'T A DESERT 0_0
nonnie the nerdy part of me that picked geography as my high level science elective in high school and geniunely considered studying archeology for a while finds the desertification of the sahara extremely fascinating BUT
the dumbass shitposter part of me who actually ended up doing film and media studies immediately thought of modern day andy going ‘i know a nice spot to go off the grid for a bit’ only to find that that spot has been covered in fucking sand for oh i dont know five thousand years and just being like
seamus we need to zap zurks
watched a stray playthrough for the first time
safe to say it broke me
I've been thinking about this dialog a lot lately from Stray.
spoke deeply to me.
I go to knock on wood, on a table, and think "this isn't actual wood" so then my alternative is to knock on my head just like how my mother taught me🙌
