I told my little nephew that I'd wave at his airplane when it flew over my house today, and he very calmly and politely explained that it wouldn't be possible to see me due to the limitations of human vision. I said he just had to squint real hard, and he took a deep breath and went into the toddler version of "see, what you're not understanding–"

I need these same two people who are always calling in an hour before their shift in the evening to stop calling out, call out earlier in the day, or quit working here. Like, stop complaining about not getting hours in one breath and calling out for half of them in the next. Don’t let people take your car on a night you know you work. The schedule is published two weeks in advance; you have plenty of time to get your ducks in a row for this.
