Happy national black women in sports day(I didn't bookmark the post and I don't remember the user *sigh* it's gone forever)! Yes, it's a day and we will celebrate it as such. These women pictured and many more have created a pathway for young black girls to excell and achieve strong feats. And while they don't get recognized as much compared to their white teammates/players, their work doesn't go unnoticed by me and it shouldn't go unnoticed by you either. In a world full of critics, racists, and misogynists who latch onto them with their twisted fantasies. It's clear as day that representation is important, now more than ever.
