*Happy finale, English dub enjoyers! đ«
The differences between the 3 versions of Wolfwood from the manga/adaptations and how they act towards Vash in particular are really funny to me.
98 anime Wolfwood: You're a funny little bug of a man. I wanna steal your lunch money.
Stampede Wolfwood: I-It's not like I like you or anything, baka...
Manga Wolfwood: I hate you so much. You're my new religion. I wanna strangle you with your own coat tails. I wanna fuck you so bad it makes me look stupid. *Kill Bill sirens*
Who Would Win.
Julius Caesar
Millions Knives
One of the design principles through every Trigun iteration that I just adore and is brilliant to me is how Vash with his coat on completely hides the fact he is extremely well built under it. His 98 and manga versions may have the big shoulders but you go "oh he's some lanky dude," then Stampgaze he's so swallowed by the coat he looks even smaller.
Then the coat comes off and GOOD LORD
The scars are the least shocking part of these scenes to me, it's the massive fuckin tits
Newgrounds
The people need Livio lost in a Costco
He got so lost he somehow ended up with a job selling hot dogs
Yo in case there are any nandermo fans still out there, I have a bunch of B grade copies and merch from Heartguard: A Nandermo Zine which I was head mod on. Just pay postage and you can have it. Iâm doing a clear out and will recycle and bin this stuff on Wednesday.
Message me to claim a pack if youâd like.
Also if you felt like donating to the zineâs charity of choice PCRF thatâd be very cool.
Old Bones
I see how it is. That feeling, this... yearning that's bigger than one lifetime could contain. It's not a figment of a homesick mind, or a pining man's heart. It's them. We were meant to be, weren't we, Vash?
(In which Vash and Wolfwood get to share their tomorrows, in one lifetime of many.)

"Hey, Spikey. Take care of everyone."
Wolfwood's mouth moves on its own. These words are familiar. He's pretty sure he's never spoken them aloud before.
Vash clings tighter to Wolfwood. Both hands, the nails of his prosthetic digging in a little too hard. Wolfwood would mention it, would complain just to be annoying, but everything is fuzzy and far away, and he's already straining to focus on Vash's face. His eyes, sky-blue and liquid with grief.
Old and new pain. Many pasts and the present. It's always felt like this, between them, butâ
"WolfwoodâŠ"
Right. Wolfwood clings back. Smile, he doesn't say. You look better when you smile. He doesn't have the heart to.
Patience
Iâm so so happy this moment got some love in Stargaze.
Itâs such a simple, powerful realization, especially for someone whoâs been fighting alone for so long. Both Stargaze and Trimax have Melanie telling him he took on too much alone, like itâs a personal failing, like it could have been avoided, but really, what choice did he have? Who could Nicholas D Wolfwood turn to that could be trusted to stand at his side, stay at his side, and survive there?
Who on that whole miserable planet would be both willing and able to stand with him against the threats he faced?
I just⊠he made a friend. He made a friend.
âalone, no longerâ is for Wolfwood too.
I forgot to post this a few weeks ago
