Hello! I am back on Tumblr because all other social media sites completely suck, and i am tired of it. Since I've last posted, I've decided to focus more on character modeling. So here is my latest creation, Violet!

When I set of this project, I wanted to make a character that would exist in a mix of the fantasy and cyberpunk genres. This is partially because of a homebrew Starfinder campaign that I will be running that will be a mix of those two genres. I wanted to make a character that would represent one of the factions in my game. She is a member of the elite hacker gang known as [REDACTED] who are a group dedicated to freedom of information, and uncovering the secrets of shadowy government organizations, and large corporate groups.

In creating her design, I took inspiration from punk aesthetics, but I also wanted to add some neon highlights, as the glowing lights of neon is often associated with the cyberpunk genre. However, these two aspects clashed, so I instead chose to limit the colors on her outfit.

“Lately I’ve been thinking of myself as less as a prisoner and more of an explorer. Since then the rooms have been changing. Of course this has been happening for awhile. There weren’t originally windows when I first arrived. But I’ve never encountered a room quite this different.”

"Since the panic of ending up here, I've never gotten the chance to slow down and enjoy how peaceful it is. I may be trapped but at least I seam safe."

“Normally there’s supposed to be lesson. Every story I’ve read there has been a some thing the main main character has to learn that causes them to learn something new that will improve their life and solve the problem. There’s always some kind of trauma that the evil represents and the protagonist conquers at the climax to get over it. But where does that leave me? I had a happy childhood. Kind and loving parents. Just an endless maze.”

"I thought that things there could be a way out. But it just goes down forever."

A door appeared in my House.

"There is a light at the top of the tunnel. Perhaps there is an exit?"

"There's something weirdly human about this place. The infinitely winding hallways remind me of a book I once read. house of leaves. But at least there, the ash grey walls and the freezing temperature of the so-called house made it clear that it was hostile to all life. But here there is heat and light. The heat has to come from somewhere. something has to make the electricity for the lights. It feels like it was designed for people. This is probably the most confusing part of all."

"I didn't expect there to see windows in this place. That should be expected though. Nothing's made sense since I've arrived here. But that must mean that there is an outside to this labyrinth. What is the purpose of this place? Mazes are either built to be solved or to contain something, like the minotaur of mythology. But, as far as I can tell, I am the only one here. Where is the minotaur? It could be so big I haven't encountered it yet or... Am I the minotaur? What crime have I done to be stuck in this place? Surely, it must be the former. That something has placed me hear, so I can find my way out for its sick entertainment. The fact there are windows must mean there is an exit, and yet they are placed out of my reach."

"Trees. I didn't expect to find trees here. I haven't seen any life other than myself since I arrived in this place. Is there food here? I can't remember the last time I've eaten. I'm sure it's been days but I'm not hungry. Can I die?"

"Today I ventured down one of the many dark corridors that wind their way through the pool rooms. I've become used to the darkness. I've learned there's no one else here but me. This one however was a dead end. But as soon as I felt the ground shake I knew something was wrong. The second sign was that pool was getting deeper. Or perhaps the water rising. By the end of the tunnel,(or I should say the begging) the water was up to my neck. Just as I thought I might drown I came out into the I have come from. Except it was blocked off. This place doesn't like me staying in one sport. Oh well. The only way is backward. Back into the dark."
