hi this is from months ago but i am Listening to the tillseb idea

HELLO THERE…absolutely. sometimes you’re just dead as f*ck and not even for the first time in some terrible watery catacomb with a giant squid. okay going off tangent for a little bit to talk about my concept of the hall of flame. kinda like the House in Piranesi with tides and black stone/marble walls, lots of corridors and chambers and pillars and … what’s the word. square stone braziers burning with blue flame around every corner. not a very thrilling afterlife but you do get a lot of contemplation done if you are the contemplating sort. seb may be trying to contemplate, but the only thing tillman is contemplating is [I AM SHOT BEFORE I COMPLETE THIS SENTENCE]

anyway the main allure of tillseb to me is that they just do not like each other very much at all. sebastian is like ugh, this guy. tillman is like haha, this f*cking loser. but then they hang out for like majority of the time because everybody else that tilly tries to cosy up to just leaves, hits the bricks, hits the esc key (understandable) and seb at least will sit still while tillman talks about crypto or roblox or whatever the hell (T: It’s like, hah, fake money, man, like money in the internet, and you can turn it into real stacks, like, sick, right? aha) ….. they walk around the hall of flame single file not saying anything just so they can hear people whisper like Hey. Those are the guys who keep dying. every now and then tilly will goad seb by talking shit about conner haley and seb, being devoted and easily goadable, will indulge him by holding him underwater for several minutes on end

also this is becoming just me talking about hall of flame concepts but the horseizontal airport idea is also phenomenal to me. favorite thing about them: i love that he was a spy first. it's so important to me. you know what andrew would be really bad at? spying. on anyone. for any reason. but he was there! for multiple seasons! hysterical tbh

least favorite thing about them: he's an onion of a man. you gotta really work to figure out what he is trying to say. not that he won't say it, but that he will say it in the most unobtrusive way, and then you're left like "okay so what do you Mean."

favorite line: oh man i don't have a specific pull for him actually but i do love his fuck ohio arc. i appreciate that he got to be bad at the game for a while, as well, as a treat for me.

Sebastian and Jessica Telephone were a pair of siblings and original Steaks all the way back in Season 1. Sources say they were never born and emerged from a payphone fully formed. With the Max Out Batter blessing Jessica, the older of the two of them, shot up to 5 stars at the end of Season 1 and then was immediately traded to the Pies with the Steal Best Hitter blessing, marking the start of Jessica Telephone’s career as a legendary batter who would go on to play for many teams

While Sebastian would remain firmly rooted in Dallas. After several seasons of separation (mostly, he calls, she lets it ring - she’s busy with the game, training, dealing with her fans, or simply just doesn’t want to talk) the Season 4 election comes around. Jessica is on the Philly Pies when back home Sebastian is targeted by the Alternate Reality decree and replaced by an alternate version of himself

I like to think that alternation changed Sebastian, because, obviously, he would be a whole different person. The new Seb is better at blaseball, too proud to call his deadbeat sister all the time, and immediately begins courting fellow Steaks player Conner Haley (by silently following him everywhere). This universe’s Conner is unused to the new, bolder Sebastian, but finds out that the new Seb was involved with the Conner Haley in his universe. While grappling with the slight tragedy of losing the original versions of each other, they navigate their new dynamic and learn the places where they differ. And maybe get a bit attached

Then Season 7 goes down. On day 65 Sebastian is hit by a Jaylen pitch and becomes Unstable. Two days later he is incinerated

Fast forward past all the expected sadness and we’re now at Day X of Season 9. The epic peanut battle commences, and Jessica, who was shelled for the second time since her brother died, is drafted for the SHELLED ONE’S PODS, and ends up hitting the game-ending home run and winning the first Day X for the Shelled One under its dominion.

Season 10’s Day X sees a similar defeat for the Crabs. The Pods make quick work of the Crabs, prompting the formation of a whole new team to go up against them: the Hall Stars, a team consisting of the most tributed players in the Hall of Flame. Including Seb. The Telephone siblings are reunited but in opposite sides of the god battle

…Until Seb, who still has the Unstable mod, is incinerated again

For the rest of the Expansion Era Jessica continues to make waves around the league. There are efforts to get Seb back through game mechanics but none succeed

There’s a thing about the Telephones being quantum waveforms and existing perpetually throughout time but that’s a topic for someone more well versed in timefuckery than me - anyway that phantom buzz in your pocket when your phone isn’t there? That’s them
