oh and so. we get more will anger. will rage specifically which i'm very intrigued by. and we get it specifically aimed at the dark young. which i'm VERY into even if it's, y'know, literal insanity. but SPECIFICALLY we get him aiming it at the dark young THROUGH ISAAC. isaac who can't even look up as will's voice goes hard and angry the way her dad sounded in the car and demands their only weapon. isaac whose options are take this anger head-on or hand it over and step aside. isaac who is still hearing her sister's pleas for help and her father's worthless apologies. isaac who was last in these woods, in this very clearing, to be sacrificed.

take my c!wilbur brainrot from twitter but i can elaborate more because the 280 character count cant hurt me here

Wilbur does this thing where he tries to read other peoples actions and predict their thought process. There are several occasions where when talking to others, he explains their own thoughts and feelings back to them. It works because he's perceptive, intelligent, and when thinking rationally, incredibly good at reading people.

This works for him, he often knows the right things to say because he has a deep understanding of the people around him. He knows how to sway them in the directions he wants because he knows what it will take persuade them. Wilbur can talk circles around anyone and he knows it.

Pre-pogtopia this wasn't really a bad thing. Pogtopia era however...

After weeks (months?) of absolutely no progress with getting Manburg back, being taunted by Schlatt's gloating and the constant paranoia that comes with being in hiding, Wilbur is understandably not thinking rationally.

His usually accurate reads on people become reaches, every action is interpreted to be something sinister. When monologuing to himself about others, his descriptions of their thought processes begin to sound like paranoid rambles instead of analysis.

He wholeheartedly believes that (almost) everyone is trying to decieve him. You have "the smartest man on the planet" completely distrusting (almost) every single person in his life.
