Maid of Breath <> Knight of Rage?

N’y’all mind if I D I E for a couple months.

I’m clearing the inbox out homies stay tuned.

Firstly, the Maid class is one of under confidence, often relying on others for their aspect until they can come into their own, and with the Breath aspect, means that the Maid of Breath would rely on others for their freedom and be your typical ‘Yes-Man’ until they're able to forge freedom for themselves.

Then, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and with the Rage aspect in tow, means that the Knight would be a force of passion and anger, acting overly angry and fearless to hide a deep insecurity that they may be too scared to protect their friends. 

The two would make quick friends I’d think, though the Maid of Breath is as easygoing as ever so it wouldn’t be particularly hard. The Maid’s a pushover, always going along with everyone’s plans with no ability to form their own, and the Knight of Rage, with their overprotective ways, will use this for their own good. The Knight would drag along the Maid on their plans, hopping from danger to danger, but with all their might will protect the Maid with their life. On the flip, the Maid’s easy-going and non-caring attitude would provide comfort to the Knight, finally finding someone to confide in that won’t scold them for their crazy passions and well-meaning plans.

I could see them forming a well-bonded Moirallegiance.

Do you have any suggestions for a matespritship with a witch of doom?

Witches are enthusiastic, optimistic, rebellious, and typically manipulative of others, though this may be to the betterment of their friends rather than for dastardly deeds. Combined with the Doom aspect, the Witch of Doom would be a strange mix of a rule-abiding rebel, never breaking any rules set in place but using them to their advantage.

So a perfect Matesprit for a Witch of Doom would be someone who shares their rebellious within their own set of rules attitude, abiding by set in place rules but completely willing to bend them. They’d also most likely have to be optimistic or up beat in spite of the Doom aspects’ tendency to be pessimistic. So for that, we have a couple definite aspects; Life and Hope. Of course both the Witch of Life and Witch of Hope would be suitable, but I think that instead, the perfect matesprit would be:

The Sylph of Life. The Sylph class is one that heals or heals through their aspect, acting motherly and caring about their friends through their aspect, and combined with the Life aspect, would mean that the Sylph of Life is an extremely lively and active person, breathing Life into everything they do and everyone they meet, to an almost stubborn point. They’d be motherly in a sense that they’d make you eat healthier, exercise more, and they would get extremely frustrated when they can’t keep something alive or lively.

So a perfect Matesprit would be a Sylph of Life yo.

how do you think a knight of rage and a bard of blood would get along? :v

First off, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and with the Rage aspect in tow, means that the Knight would be a force of passion and anger, acting overly angry and fearless to hide a deep insecurity that they may be too scared to protect their friends.

Meanwhile, the Bard class will start off mimicking their opposite aspect, passively destroying their own, before experiencing some sort of event that propels them full force into acting within their aspect, switching between each at will. Combined with the Blood aspect, the Bard of Blood would start out as an aggressively independent soul, before experiencing something like their freedom being forcefully taken from them or a leadership position forced onto them, wherein they will propel full force into their socially active form, acting as a sort of dictator to their team.

A Bard of Blood would be a hard person for any class to make with, due to their fiercely independent nature, and a Knight of Rage probably wouldn’t like them very much, but considering the Knight of Rage’s overprotective ways, the Knight would still chase after them in some ill fated attempt to protect them. I could see the Knight being the reason for the Bards change, placing them in a freedom restricting position to protect them and making them realize they can’t abandon their friends all the time, wherein they will begin to wrestle control of others to help them accomplish their goals, but in a surprisingly destructive way. I could see the Knight of Rage trying to, ironically, calm them down whilst simultaneously playing up their separate newfound passion to act in a team. I could see the two start up a one sided Moiraillegiance, with the Knight of Rage acting as a calming force against the Bard of Blood’s new forceful nature, most likely in fear of the Bard of Blood destroying their friendships through a vicious dictatorship.

God damn it I walked into a club meeting and now I gotta put my acting skills in to place and act like I belong here.

The Mage class is one that experiences their aspect immensely, both good and bad, but ends up becoming extremely knowledgeable in their aspect through their experiences. And with the Space aspect, means that the Mage might be a talented artist, tailor, or just a genuinely creative person, but suffer from hard creative blocks, and maybe not be recognized for the talent they truly have.

Witches, meanwhile, are enthusiastic, optimistic, rebellious, and typically manipulative of others, though this may be to the betterment of their friends rather than for dastardly deeds, and with the Mind aspect, means that the Witch of Mind would use their Mind tricks to manipulate others into their deeds, able to seem like a calm and collected person until their sense of justice kicks in and they end up on a neverending path to get it.

Well, as much as I try to rack my brain for any reason, straight up there is no reason these two should hate each other based on their classes personalities. The Mage of Space’s unluckiness with Space, art and tailoring, and subsequent luck as well, would breed a pessimistic if still quite talented artist, who shows a deep knowledge in arts and crafts, and the Witch of Mind might be manipulative, but that wouldn’t be cause for hate love. So sorry, but I just don’t see these two in a Kismesis.

Knight of Rage <> Maid of Breath?

Man having three hours between University classes sure gives time to pump out these reviews.

First off, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and with the Rage aspect in tow, means that the Knight would be a force of passion and anger, acting overly angry and fearless to hide a deep insecurity that they may be too scared to protect their friends.

And as for the other, the Maid class is one of under confidence, often relying on others for their aspect until they can come into their own, and with the Breath aspect, means that the Maid of Breath would rely on others for their freedom and be your typical ‘Yes-Man’ until their able to forge freedom for themselves.

I could see these two becoming friends, though initially not for well reasons; the Knights’ loud and brash personality would practically terrify the Maid into submission, and the Knight would pounce on the opportunity to become friends with someone who reinforces that personality. But over time, I could see a genuine likeness on the Maid’s part, as they uncover more and more of the Knights relatability, and see the side to them that’s not initially shown. The Knight may let slip something their scared of, only to quickly cover it up and show off how unafraid they are. Unfortunately, the Maid of Breath’s own unhelpful and undeciding personality wouldn’t do well to uncover the Knight’s secret persona,and the Knight’s loud and demanding nature wouldn’t really help the Maid develop, so unfortunately, I can’t see this pair working Pale, and simply meandering as friends for the rest of their friendship.

knight of hope <3 page of space?

Knight of Hope more like Knight of DOPE, happy 4/20 y’all in America.

First off, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and coupled with the aspect of Hope, means that the Knight of Hope is a very optimistic and charismatic person, able to sway people to their cause while always being afraid that they just aren’t trying hard enough.

Meanwhile, the Page class is an underpowered and often underutilized one, either unknowingly terrible with their aspect or completely accepting of how terrible they are with their aspect, but will grow into it over time. Combined with Space, the Page of Space would either be a pretty pretentious person, believing their terrible and childish scribbles are perfection, or they’d be an extremely underconfident artist with exceptional skills that never see their true potential.

The Knight of Hope is probably the class I deal with the most over the dozen analysis’ I’ve done, though the same sentiment will always remain; the Knight of hope would be an overconfident character in response to trying to hide their fear that they wouldn’t be doing well enough in the eyes of others, and the Page of Space wouldn’t really be the person to fix that. The two would get along, as the Knight does with everyone, and they’d spark a quick relationship. But it really all depends on the Page: a pretentious and stuck up Page means the Knight wouldn’t go anywhere near a red relationship, but an underconfident Page would be just what the Knight needs, and the two would eventually find themselves in a fulfilling matespritship, the Page happy for the support and the Knight simply happy to see the Page grow more confident.

So depending on which Angle or Yuor Devil Page, the two could easily fulfill a red relationship.

how would a knight of time <3 mage of space relationship go?

So, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and coupled with the Time aspect, means that the Knight of Time might hide a deep fear of how things might turn out, what fate has in store for them, behind a layer of carelessness, making them seem cool and collected in even the most stressful situation.

Meanwhile, the Mage class is one that experiences their aspect immensely, both good and bad, but ends up becoming extremely knowledgeable in their aspect through their experiences. And with the Space aspect, means that the Mage might be a talented artist, tailor, or just a genuinely creative person, but suffer from hard creative blocks, and maybe not be recognized for the talent they truly have.

Hmm, quite an interesting pair to interact: the Knight being calm at most times and the Mage an unrecognized creative genius. The two would get along, that’s for sure: it’s almost too easy for the Master Aspects to have complimenting personalities, the artist and the musician. Both are typically creative people especially, the Knight of Time perhaps having a natural tell for rhythmic tunes, and the Mage’s self-taught painting/tailoring skill, and they’d bond through such abilities. Or maybe the Mage admires the Knight’s somehow natural talent and easy to get along with attitude, starting a friendship with the easy Knight of Time. It would seem as long as your Mage can communicate their feelings, perhaps through a cute art piece or clothing article made for the Knight, the relationship would go swimmingly!

how would the relationship of a knight of time to a knight of hope, and to a sylph of space go?

So, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and coupled with the Time aspect, means that the Knight of Time might hide a deep fear of how things might turn out, what fate has in store for them, behind a layer of carelessness, making them seem cool and collected in even the most stressful situation.

The same sentiment goes for a Knight of Hope, meaning that the Knight of Hope is a very optimistic and charismatic person, able to sway people to their cause while always being afraid that they just aren’t trying hard enough.

So being two Knights, both who hide their insecurities under either a careless or overly caring persona, means that they’d be an alright pair to get along, if not completely perfect. Most Knights are fairly easy to get along with (See Dave and Latula, and to an extent Karkat) and it would make sense that the pair would spark a friendship easily. But, regrettably, I don’t see them filling any quadrant: the two just don’t have what it takes to crack their shells, as they’d always be trying to hide their separate insecurities. Don’t get me wrong, they’d have a bustling friendship, but I just don’t see any quadrants.

Meanwhile, the Sylph class is one that is often seen as happy or helpful, confident, with themselves and others, though may completely lose it on a dime, and coupled with the Space as well, means that the Sylph of Space may be an extremely caring, motherly type, with some amazing skills in art, tailoring, and literature, but will snap and hurt others if it threatens the people they care about.

Now, on the contrary, I could see a more Pale quadrant filled between the Sylph and the Knight. The Knight might be almost too chilled out, and a good motherly figure might actually get them off their butt and make them care more about a situation, as well as being a shoulder for the Knight to cry on. The Sylph could easily penetrate the shell of the Knight of Time, revealing their insecurities and helping them work on it. And in the meanwhile, the Knight could teach the Sylph how to take things much more lightly, as the Sylph will most likely be a little uptight along with their elegance. So Moirails, definitely!

Ooh, the Prince of Heart. Your dear dear blog owners’ claspect. I’ll probably update the description of the blog to say that or somethin’.

So, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and coupled with the Time aspect, means that the Knight of Time might hide a deep fear of how things might turn out, what fate has in store for them, behind a layer of carelessness, making them seem cool and collected in even the most stressful situation.

The Prince class meanwhile is one that will destroy their aspect actively, either directly or through their aspect, often ghosting their opposite aspect, and combined with the Heart aspect, means that the Prince of Heart will ruthlessly destroy all character development and romantic feelings, whilst falsefully acting unbiased and logical in a given situation.

So first off, you run into a gigantic rut just by having a Prince of Heart as one of the participants; a Prince of Heart will often hide their true feelings behind harsh and often brutal masks. Even if they decide to fill some sort of quadrant, it’d be through a long and gratuitous process involving very complicated ‘I guess they like me…?’ procedures with the Knight, whom likewise would have a little trouble outting their inner feelings in a straightforward manner. 

And then there’s the fact that even if the Prince of Heart initiated a weird sort of Moiraillegiance, it’d be a very one sided, controlling, and borderline emotionally abusive relationship. The Prince hates revealing his feelings to anyone and everyone, yet would get ultimately attached to the Knight if they truly have Pale feelings for them. A lot of overwhelming emotional trauma would be placed on the Knight, as the Prince starts relying on them to be happy, yet never truly giving a damn about how the Knight feels in the relationship. One doomed to fail, if it ever comes into being in the first place.

As for a Seer of Heart and Knight of Time:

The Seer class is one in which the player can easily see their aspect in others, as well as see the future through their aspect, and with the Heart aspect, means that the Seer of Heart is able to easily tell when two people belong together, as well as being able to see peoples’ romantic intentions towards others or themselves.

Now the Seer of Heart is practically second to an Heir of Heart in terms of lovability, being the cutesy sort of “~I know who you like~” person on the team, and easily putting those two in situations where they end up together. They’re a shoe in for many romantic situations. The Knight of Time wouldn’t be an exception, and even through their seemingly collected attitude, the Seer of Heart would recognize any feelings the Knight would have. I could see the Knight having pale feelings towards the Seer, what with the Seer seemingly understanding the Knights self-loathing and hidden personality, then the Seer of course initiating the most platonic romance two people could have. The Seer would gladly listen to the Knights loaths, whilst noting all the positive aspects of the Knights personality.

So a PHAT no to the Prince and Knight, but a solid yes to the Seer and Knight.

would a Mage of Space and a Seer of Life work out as moirails or matesprits?

Always a joy to get the rare request.

So, the Mage class is one that experiences their aspect immensely, both good and bad, but ends up becoming extremely knowledgeable in their aspect through their experiences. And with the Space aspect, means that the Mage might be a talented artist, tailor, or just a genuinely creative person, but suffer from hard creative blocks, and maybe not be recognized for the talent they truly have.

Meanwhile, the Seer class is one in which the player can easily see their aspect in others, as well as see the future through their aspect. Paired with the Life aspect, this means that the Seer is able to sense excitement and activeness in others, and may be quite positive and helpful to others in order to help them grow, in a sense.

I could see the two getting along fairly well first off: the Mage and Seer are the active (Mage) and Passive (Seer) knowledge classes, and they’d both know about their aspects very well, albeit in different ways. I could see the Seer, just a bubbly body of energy, sensing the Mages self-deprecation and frustration, and starting up a friendship with them. Eventually, the Seer would find out the Mage’s natural talent for art, and encourage them to achieve their dreams. It’d definitely be a moirallegiance to start out with, the Seer encouraging and supporting the Mage while the Mage themselves would take that support and encouragement to heart.

But, that would blossom. The Mage might take this newfound confidence, and then use it to express their true feelings, ones that they start getting once they realize that the Seer is the cause of the clearance of their talent block. If they’re an artist, they might graffiti a building, if a tailor, they might make the Seer an exquisite outfit. Either way, the Mage would definitely have Red feelings for the Seer, and the Seer would almost certainly accept. 

Definitely a successful, and kinda adorable, matespritship, I’d reckon.

Who do you think would be a good matesprite for a Muse of Blood???

Ooooh, one of the master classes. 

The Muse is the Passive counter-part to the Lord class, able to create their aspect through their aspect, possibly being even more powerful than the Page class. Combined with the Blood aspect, the Muse of Blood would be an incredibly creative force of leadership and reliability, never betraying a persons trust and always taking point in any situation.

The Muse of Blood is a claspect compatible with just about anyone; Muses are in general a very easy class to get along with, no matter the aspect, as seen in canon with Dirk being polite and understanding to Calliope where he was usually impatient and straight-forward. With the Blood aspect, they would be even more friendly, often helping people with great enthusiasm. Buuuuut, there are a few they’d get along with best: those who are also reliable in relationships are a must, so I’d say a good matesprite would be any combination of the Mind, Heart, or Life aspect, with the Maid, Sylph, or Rogue class.

And with Light as the aspect, the Mage of Light would be a very smart person, a legitimate know-it-all, but would most likely suffer from the amount of knowledge they hold and would jump between good and bad luck frequently. Like the saying goes; ignorance is bliss, so the Mage of Light would be the most depressed person you’d ever meet.

In contrast, Witches are enthusiastic, optimistic, rebellious, and typically manipulative of others, though this may be to the betterment of their friends rather than for dastardly deeds. Combined with the Doom aspect, the Witch of Doom would be a strange mix of a rule-abiding rebel, never breaking any rules set in place but using them to their advantage. 

Well, I got bad news and good news. The bad new: the two wouldn’t really have red feelings towards one another. While the Mage is an often unhappy person, they’d find that they just don’t find the Witches stubborn optimism and bending of the rules to be attractive traits in that quadrant, but would have a steady respect for the Witches intelligence and rule abiding behavior. The Witch would hold the same sort of sentiment towards the Mage, hating their depressive look on the world but enjoy the hell outta having intelligent conversations with the Mage and listening to their knowledge on technology. 

You can probably see where this is going: the two would work well as Moirails. The two would hit off a deep friendship based off their respective intelligence's, eventually spiraling into the Pale quadrant. Along with that, the Witch could show the Mage how to actually enjoy their intelligence, quite possibly educating them, much to the Mages delight. So congrats on the new Moirailegiance!

Do you think a Mage of Light and a Witch of Blood would work as matesprites?

Well, the Mage class is one that experiences their aspect immensely, both good and bad, but ends up becoming extremely knowledgeable in their aspect through their experiences. And with Light as the aspect, the Mage of Light would be a very smart person, a legitimate know-it-all, but would most likely suffer from the amount of knowledge they hold and would jump between good and bad luck frequently. Like the saying goes; ignorance is bliss, so the Mage of Light would be the most depressed person you'd ever meet.Witches, meanwhile, are enthusiastic, optimistic, rebellious, and typically manipulative of others, though this may be to the betterment of their friends rather than for dastardly deeds. Coupled with the Blood aspect, you've got an unreliable and unpredictable friend who believes that no platonic relationship is permanent, and constantly breaks promises that they deem unworthy, but when they do want to fulfill a promise, ooooohhh-boy.Well, I'm sorry to say, but I don't really see the pairing working out as matesprits. These two aren't particularly compatible as friends, let alone a romantic relationship. For one, the Mage of Light would be a constant annoyance to the rebellious Witch, with their constant analyzing of the Witches actions would just ruin the Witches fun. The Mage may even come to a conclusion that the Witch has some sort of past event that made them manipulative, but the most likely answer would be that the Witch is just some curious asshole that finds it fun to screw around with othersSecondly, the Mage does not need that sort of unhealthy relationship. They're already a miserable person, constantly analyzing everything without realizing, and a matespritship with someone so manipulative and free-thinking would push them over the edge, throwing them into some sort of melt-down. The Witch is a very patient person, as seen by Jade and Feferi in comic, but just like them the Witch of Blood would only handle so much, and lash out at the Mage quite often, though not to the extent that they'd have black feelings towards the Mage, and the Mage wouldn't even think of the Witch in that way at all. So what would be left? Well, you better find yourself a good Auspitice, because the two of them would get all Ashen up in here. It's for the best anyway; mostly for the mental stability of the Mage. So, sorry, but your dreams of love aren't very likely.

So, I dunno if I'm just the only asker here... but how would a Knight of Mind and a Knight of Hope work as moirails? Thanks in advance!

Well darn, you are the first ask!

So a Knight of Hope and a Knight of Mind, huh? First off, the Knight class is one that often hides their personal insecurities behind a layer of overcompensation of confidence, and coupled with the aspect of Hope, means that the Knight of Hope is a very optimistic and charismatic person, able to sway people to their cause while always being afraid that they just aren’t trying hard enough.

The same sentiment goes for a Knight of Mind, meaning that a Knight of Mind would be able to make completely unbiased choices and logical decisions easily, but hides it behind a mask or facade because they view their decision making as woefully biased and incomplete.

The two would be easily suited to each other, mainly due to the Knight of Hopes’ ability to inspire confidence in people, resulting in a series of events ending with the Knight of Mind coming to terms with their insecurities and letting out their true personality. 

The Knight of Hope would probably be the first to contact the Knight of Mind, due to his natural confidence, and the Knight of Mind would quickly find themselves creating a persona to fit the beliefs of the Knight of Hope. The Knight of Hope would see through this facade, and try their hardest to inspire confidence within the Knight of Mind. They would resist, of course, believing that they might end up making a bad choice to push away the Knight of Hope. But the constant and unending pestering would wear on the Knight of Mind, and they’d find themselves letting out their own fears of wrongdoing to the Knight of Hope. Finding themselves newly empowered by revealing their inner selves to the Knight of Hope, they’d often times refer to the Knight of Hope when making decisions, and through time and positive reinforcement, become confident that their decision making and begin to decide for themselves, realizing their true potential as an analyst. For the Knight of Hope though, the Knight of Mind wouldn’t be able to realize their insecurity, due to the Knight of Hopes’ facade simply being a overcompensation of their aspect rather than a facade.

All in all, an easily compatible pair, with the Knight of Hope being more than happy to provide support for the Knight of Mind, in spite of them not getting much in the way of help for their own insecurities. But I mean, just the fact that the Knight of Mind would be appreciative of the Moiraillegiance would be more than enough motivation for the Knight of Hope, so it’s not like they’d be miserable or anything like that in the relationship!

Example Quadrant

So, to give an example, I’ll use two of my OC’s: the Thief of Time and Rogue of Hope!

First of all, these are two very different people: The Thief class is often a cocky, overconfident, and pushy class with a secret insecurity of their aspect, and coupled with an aspect related to fate, means that the Thief of Time is kind of a douchey person, but with a secret fear of how he’s going to end up in the future. 

Meanwhile, the Rogue class is often overly-generous with their aspect to the point of being devoid of it themselves, and with an aspect like Hope, means that they will give out Hope to their friends while being quite hopeless themselves, at least until they complete their personal quest.

The Thief and the Rogue are quite the pair, with the Thief being a commanding A-hole who pushes the Rogue, while the Rogue just wants to be left alone. But A Thief of Time and Rogue of Hope would, in theory, work extremely well together. 

As mentioned, the Rogue of Hope would give out their own Aspect willy-nilly, and without Hope for themselves, would have a megaton of trust issues in themselves, being extremely pessimistic about their abilities. The Thief would most likely confide in the Rogue, finding that their faith in the Thief, possibly matching the Thief’s faith in themselves, would take away a lot of their fear. With the new-found Hope, the Thief would find themselves optimistic about their future, finding comfort in the faith given to them by the Rogue. 

Of course, then the Thief would start pushing the Rogue to believe in themselves, and stop being so trusting of others. Yes, hypocritical, I know, but a tactic that would work. They might push the Rogue to do something they normally wouldn’t do, like ask their crush out, and the Rogue would find themselves filled with a metric F-ton of Hope.

All in all, I’d say they’d probably fill a Pale quadrant, being a very successful Moirallegiance!
