Jett had just kicked off his European tour with a show in London, delivering an electrifying and moody set that left his audience demanding an encore. He knew exactly what song to play, too, given the weight of certain gazes on him throughout the night. The young star walked back out onstage with his signature jet black steel string, and began singing a bluesy little number with a haunting tune.
âI see you out in the crowd.
The lonely, the broken, the beaten down.
Thieves in the shadows, stalkers in the rain.
You hide your faces, bury your pain.

Jasper lifts his eyebrow at that. " You'd be suprised about how many times ive been taken to a lab." He could tell the other was exhausted. He wouldnt make him do anything he didn't want to do. Though, tonight might not be the best for fucking. Perhaps something a bit more personal, a bit more meaningful. " Of course not. Ive got all the time in the world. We can do the fine print later."
Soon he offers Jett the glass and when he takes it he watches him for a moment before saying," You can sleep here tonight. Ill be sure to get you up in time so you can get to everything you need tomorrow, but until then enjoy yourself."
Jettâs coy smirk diminished to a genuinely grateful and relieved smile as he took the offered glass. The pressure was off. âThanks. Thatâs mighty kind of you,â he replied warmly, knocking back the metallic, somewhat sweet liquid like a shot. The effects werenât immediate, but as he looked back at Jasper, he could feel his mind beginning to slip into a sort of fuzzy haze that brought a certain heat to his core, and a pretty flush to his face.
âIâm yours tonight, darlinâ,â he murmurs, leaning in close.
Watching him take it like a shot he cant help a slight smirk escape his lips. Oh the poor boy needed this more than he did. Jasper takes the glass from him when he was done putting on the table nearby. " Hmm. As much as that sounds fucking wonderful sweetheart I know something you need far more than my body tonight." He just looks into Jetts eyes before moving to join him on the same couch.
When he was there he patts his lap for Jett to join him. " C'mere Sweetheart. Ive got what you need."
The witch was eager to comply, scooting over to plant his ass gently into Jasperâs inviting lap and making himself comfortable. The arm that had been slung over the back of the couch was now draped around the vampireâs shoulders. Jasperâs words had him intrigued, though. What exactly did he have planned?

Apon entering the place Jasper closes the door and moves inside leading to the livingroom area. There he immediately sits down on the couch and grins," If there is magic, abilities, or somthing new to hit London it dosent stay quiet long, and that's dangerous in itself sweetheart. Im sure your aware from past experiences your blood is very much desired for the taste and how it makes us feel. Not only that your power if you were controlled could potentially be dangerous to many people."
Leaning back into the couch he looked like he owned the place. " I was there to see if the rumors were true and they were. Which means you are on a lot of immortals lists here. I can offer you protection if your so inclined to take it."
Ah, there it was. Jett sat down beside Jasper, listening to his pitch with a keen ear. âI assure you, I am more than capable of protectinâ myself and my band from supernatural threats. Been studyinâ my craft since I was in high school, and I ainât never stopped gettinâ stronger. However,â he continued, inclining his head a little as he considered the offer, âan ally here could be handy.â He truly didnât have many. Even within his coven back in North Carolina, he was considered an outcast. The industry folks he worked with only valued him for the money he could bring in. His bandmates were cool, but they didnât know about the other side of his life any more than anyone else did.
His expression faltered a little, but he maintained his smile. âI mean, I ainât too keen on the whole âbeinâ controlledâ thing, but a companion would be ideal. And I get the feelinâ that your connections could be helpful in many ways.â Jett turned in his seat to face Jasper, draping an arm over the back of the couch. Back to scheming. âBut if I agreed to somethinâ like that, then what might you need from me?â
With the other sitting next to him Jasper presses his knee lightly against Jetts. He listens to him while contemplating what he may ask of him. Looking into Jetts eyes he grins slightly," Oh Sweetheart that's a dangerous question asking someone like me. But im not gonna lie. I fucking hate liars. I would very much be interested in some of your blood. Im not going to drain you dry. Theirs no fun in that." His eyes slide down the others form slightly before flickering right back to his eyes. " Of course there might be something else we both can gain from this in the end."
Sitting up that brings him closer to Jett. His stare intense not leaving Jetts. " You have to understand if you agree and we both can make ends meet i won't tolerate lying or betrayal of any kind. Its a two way street. You want to know something you ask .e and dont go digging around."
He didnât back down. In fact, the tension between them only made his heart beat faster. This was beyond exciting! Jett smirked once more. âIf itâs blood ya want, darlinâ, then Iâll require blood in return. Equivalent exchange. I have resources that could be useful to you, as well, and youâre right about us both havinâ plenty of benefits to gain from this arrangement.â
His expression softens a bit, however, when the other man mentions his expectations. âIâm not a fan of liars, either, to be completely transparent with you. Been hurt too many times by people who couldnât keep their promises. That song you heard me singinâ at the end of the show? I wrote it for a reason.â Several reasons, really. âI treat people, especially potential friends or partners, the way I want to be treated. Some people think they can take advantage of that. Of me. It doesnât end well for âem.â
"Hmm.." Jasper seemed to think about that. Blood for blood. He sits back in his chair for a moment. " And by chance what do you want with my blood? I dont just give that away to anyone." Vampire blood could be sold for high prices due to what it could do. Healing g properties, highs, enhanced sexual desire and so much more. Of course if the vampire that you got the blood from was still alive a bond would form between the two.
" Oh you've no idea the things we could do together baby."
Hearing the others voice soften and speak lightly of things he could feel a tug.. a light one. He understood how the other felt. Eyes flickering back to Jetts eyes he grins showing teeth. " Oh, you and I could definitely have some fun together." He could feel a connection of some kind to this person. Of what sort he wssent sure of yet. Time would only tell. He just hoped the other didn't betray him.
Jett tilted his head a little, coy grin still playing on his lips. âWhat for? Nothinâ nefarious, I assure you. I know what your blood will do to me just as well as I know what my blood will do to you, darlinâ.â The witch let out a light chuckle. âI donât take givinâ away literal part of myself lightly. If youâre gonna get high on me, then Iâd love to get high on you, too. Equivalent exchange, like I mentioned before.â
The way Jasper was talking about everything they could get up to together already had Jett a little hot under the collar. The things he was willing to let this man do to himâŚ
âNo idea, huh?â He chuckled again, leaning in a little with obvious interest. âThen please enlighten me. I look forward to findinâ out what plans you got up your sleeve for liâl olâ me~â
Jasper just stares at the other for a moment not saying anything. Suddenly hes up on his feet moving over to a bar area. There he has small crystal glasses and pulls one out. " Here's the thing Jett. If im giving blood it has to be done here with me. Things may happen or I may just watch you enjoy yourself." He could smell the arousal on the other and of course he wouldnt say no to an offer like that...of course he would make the other work for it.
He slices a sharp nail across his wrist letting his blood flow into the glass. Watching the other he says," Of course we could get right to it. I can smell the need coming off you in waves. After you drink this we can fuck. Or." He pauses to lick his wound and watches it heal. " We can be big boys tonight and actually get to work on contracts and getting to work."
He moves from the bar with the glass in his hand. Moving to sit back in his chair right next to Jett. The glass of blood swirling lightly as he looks into Jetts eyes. He was challenging him. See which he wanted most now.
âWell, yeah, thatâs understandable,â Jett replied with a small laugh. âI mean, I wasnât expectinâ to take you to a lab, or nothinâ. Thatâd be weird.â Hopefully, Jasper wouldnât think his joke was too dumb. âHere is just fine. It might take some finaglinâ to work these sessions around my tour dates, but Iâll find a way.â Heâd have to learn that teleportation spell that Victor had tried teaching him before he left the StatesâŚ
It was close to 3 AM. Heâd been awake for around twenty hours, and working for most of that time. The thought of poring over contracts until the sun rose was a rather daunting one to his exhausted mind. âLook, as long as weâre beinâ completely honest,â he answered with a sigh, âIâve been up since yesterday morninâ. I like you, and I definitely want to work with you. HoweverâŚwould you judge me too harshly if I asked to draw up contracts and work out details when Iâm a little more lucid?â At last, heâd deigned to listen to the part of his brain that was begging him to be responsible. Sort of.
âI wouldnât mind a little fun tonight, though,â he admitted, smile returning. His bandmates were likely to wonder where he was later, but as long as he showed up for their interview that evening and the rehearsal afterward, they should be fine. That calculation made his head hurt. Even now, he was still thinking about work. His gaze drifted to the cup, and the hypnotic swirling of the crimson liquid within.

He then turns towards the door pushing a button and soon it buzzes and a voice says rather boredly," Hello?" Jasper rolls his eyes. " Open the fucking door." Soon the door unlocks and Jasper let's Jett go in first.
The voices were back, shrieking in the back of his mind that he absolutely should go into that building. He of course told them to stuff it. Vampires were nothing new to him, and if push came to shove, he was reasonably confident in his spellcasting abilities to aid him in beating a hasty retreat. This Jasper fellow could prove to be very useful in advancing his career, and he was certainly charming.
âMineâs Jett,â he answered as he stepped inside, though the other probably already knew that. Just like he probably knew that it wasnât just curiosity that was fueling the musicianâs bravery. Loneliness and ambition were also contributing factors. A desire to be heard. âI see you run a tight ship here,â he remarks with a smirk.
Jasper follows him inside and once the door closes it locks behind them. There was a man sitting behind a desk when they enter. You could tell this man looked down at everyone no matter what. " Oh yeah. No one gets in here unless I allow it." Owen sniffs in annoyance. " Well I see you have a visitor. Please do take him upstairs. Id rather not have to deal with a mess."
Jasper faster than the blink of an eye was standing in front of Owen hand around his throat. " Just remember who you work for and who fucking gives you your medicine." He then let's go of him turning back to Jett. " So upstairs?"
He then leads him to the elevator.
Jett raised an eyebrow at the remark. A mess? That was awfully presumptuous. He almost laughed when Jasper showed off his speed to teach the lackey a lesson, but managed to keep his composure.

One hand absently went to fiddle with the scarab amulet he always wore, taking comfort in the magic it was warded with. An insurance policy, just in case Jasper got any violent ideas that he wasnât into. He was daring, not stupid. âLead on, Danger,â he replied, smirk returning.
Jasper smirks lightly as the elevator doors open. Entering he pushed the penthouse button. As the elevator rises Jaspers eyes flicker to Jett just watching him. You just might enjoy it.
