Yo, @halla-hunts-the-wolf ! I got those screenshots! My last save file was way far back, so I had to work up the will to replay the exact steps into Arbor Wilds; still in the Emerald Knights tomb 🤦🏼♀️
IGNORE MY INFINITE POTIONS. 🔪
The only thing that’s off is they have no vallaslin, but I think that’s more to do with the base elf model used, as that is NOT an Orlesian elf (I have Briala puppeteering Gaspard). These are very clearly Dalish elves based in their gear. I’m playing a Trevelyan fwiw.
All things considered, Cullen is the most successful living General in southern Thedas. AND YET, former Templar uber warrior bro doesn’t even wear a helmet in the Arbor Wilds. Commander Cullen out there asking to become the next King Harold…
Tarquin: oh you know, just trying to make it ungifted in a world made for mages…
Every mage south of the Waking Sea:
So if you let Florianne kill Celene and install Gaspard as a puppet with Briala… Blackwall never comes out of Thom Rainier and just stays Blackwall. You never even call him out after Adamant.
There are so many layers of terrible to his character I can’t 😭
I just noticed that Keeper Harwin’s clan (I’m assuming) is fighting with this Inquisition in the Arbor Wilds, the very first encounter on the path to the Temple. Cool detail. I wonder if that’s only if you get full approval and give them the Red Crossing text… huh. Cool!
varric sends the swords and shields book to his editor with a few minor tweaks from the one he gave cassandra and when she finds it in a shop the entire first page is a dedication to her. like the whole page is her very long name. he even made up some more middle names just to make it fit the page.
“Like the lyrium needs to flow, but if you’re a part of it, it takes you with it. So you can’t be a part of it. That makes me sad. I’m not sure why. It seems like we should be a part of it. Whatever ‘it’ is. Or maybe we’re the ones who make it happen? Whatever ’it’ is?” — Dagna
Solas does not deserve redemption ;o; . Dwarves are heartbreaking.
When Gatt says to Dorian, “You know nothing of fear.”
And Dorian replies with: “And you intend to teach me?”
… yeah. I’ll be in my bunk. It’s a wrap.
So if Solas and the other Evanuris who directly created their bodies with Lyrium, does that mean a Seeker like Cassandra with the ability to make the Lyrium in someone’s body burn… could she have made their bodies burn…?
Oh man… that would be too amazing. Cassandra is given her abilities by a spirit, Solas is a Disney Princess with spirits… You’re all traveling in Crestwood and the she just starts burning Solas whenever he mentions the Veil because she’s irritated.
Everyone involved is confused.
There needs to be some kind of mashup with Solavellan put to Halsey’s “You Should Be Sad”… is there? 🫠🫠
It's funny how often Cassandra says "you're right" or "I agree" and then in the corner at the exact same time the message pops up "Cassandra disapproves". She's so mad that you're right.
It just clicked to me that Solas dislikes the Wardens so much because he knew they were working with Corypheus… because he knew about the whole ritual at the Conclave. Yo… ol’ wolf directly helped them prepare… Why did this never occur to me in 11 years+?
Interesting…
“Gallus, Property if House Lartys: conspiring to commit treason (given over for further interrogation).
New head-canon: Neve’s bloodline has been tormenting Tevinter Magisters since the 2nd Blight.
The first panel of Solas’s mural in Skyhold could just as easily be a depiction of Corypheus being cast out of the Fade as it is of the creation of the Breach. Just sayin’.
The Dalish didn’t know they were telling the story of the war with the Titans all along…
