Lost & Found: S3PackageViewer

There's a super useful program for The Sims 3 I've been using for years called S3PackageViewer, which is no longer available for download where it was originally uploaded in 2013 (the ProSims forum, which is all in Russian)

S3PackageViewer shows you...

the thumbnails inside package files (even merged ones!), Sims3Packs, and world files

which clothing categories CAS items are available in and if they're enabled for random

how many simoleons build/buy items cost and their item descriptions

Someone on the NRaas forums re-uploaded the installers for it here!

as requested, this time I'm sharing a big base sims dump!

-> They are not dressed, it's only base sims so you can choose the outfits and the body structure, they only have hair and makeup as you see them :) (I put basic EA clothes)

loading screen dumb 🤍

had some flying around in my folders :3

lis one is from my "old" lis ui, lot of people wanted the ui back so heres at least the loading screen brrr

game loading screens share the same logo, just the pic changes - left to right: elden ring, resident evil 2, the last of us, fatal frame, gta v - all game loading screens got a fitting line from each game hihi

make sure to just have one loading screen at a time

loading screens need to load before your ui mod

Stand Still&Closer Camera in CAS with Custom Poses Mod

Description

It's finally here^^This mod is inspired and based on spagtscully's New CAS and CAP animation options Mod Version1 which will make your sims and Pets stand still in CAS without any movement and facial idles. I edited its jazz script and now other than that, your sims can stay freeze in the custom poses imported into the package file with this mod. And it's super easy to replace them with the ones you like. I'll show you how to do it in the below. I've also noticed that spagtscully's original mod conflicts with closer camera mod. So I replaced its CASCamerasWS.ini file with the one used in Shimrod101's Zoom-In CaS Camera Mod and edited the parameters to keep the camera focusing on toddler's face rather than belly when zooming in. Hopefully this mod can bring more vitality to the sims 3 CAS~

Features

Sims and pets will keep freeze in custom poses unless you pick species and traits. You can customize sim's poses as you want.

Cameras will get closer when zooming in.

Compatibility

Work fine on1.67/1.69 and base-game compatible.

Conflicts with any other mod that changes CAS animations and CAS cameras.

How to customize the poses

These are the animation names I used in this mod.

For those who know how to create poses in blender and want to customize this mod in an easy way. You can export the pose or animation you want, changing its animation name to the corresponding one listed above and exported it again. Then copy the file you just saved and paste it into the mod in s3pe. It will replace the original file. And that's it, your sims will stay in the new pose you've just chosen. Currently male and female sims are sharing the same pose. I will make a new version that male and female sims have separate animation files if it's needed.

Poses for pets stay the same as the original mod, you can check them out here.

Version 1: Toddlers, children, teen-elder males and females stay in the same pose shown in the first image.

Version 2: Compared to Version 1, teen- elder sims' poses are additionally changed to the one shown in the third image.

Version 3: Compared to Version 1, teen- elder sims' poses are additionally changed to the one shown in the fourth image.

THINGS TO NOTE:

make sure the loading screen file loads BEFORE the main ui mod

i included all patches so pick and choose what you need

the font could be too small/thin for you, depends on the screen

logo should be replaced for all languages and packs

as i said before, the moon won't change its phases atm, need to work on that

the small slider plumbob works for facial sliders only i believe

cc wrench works for all categories

you can always just use the font, or loading screen etc if you prefer only those

it took me a good time to do this, so please don't claim as your own!

Fixed a bug where sims with the Inappropriate trait could peck kiss their family members.

Updated the lower Lod for the box of chocolates so it should not longer show a tissue box from a distance.

When selecting a sim to shower with, the interaction will now be greyed out if the sim's hygiene isn't low enough.

Fixed an issue where an interaction named "Show instance name" appeared on newly bought objects.

Fixed an issue where if the target sim in the Kiss From Behind interaction moved to a different seat, the actor sim wouldn't follow and the animations would play from the wrong location.

Sims can now shower with a sim who is their partner but not a part of the household without hygiene conditions. A setting for adjusting the minimum hygiene level has been added to the settings file, so you can set it to 200 if you don't want conditions.

✨ TS3 Custom Loading Screen Mod ✨

This originally started as a personal edit for my own game. I wanted something that fit my screenshots and overall aesthetic a bit better than the default loading screen, so I tweaked it to match my style and just… never really planned on sharing it.

But after posting a few screenshots, a couple of people asked about the loading screen and where it was from — so I decided to clean it up properly and turn it into my own custom version instead of keeping it as a private edit.

To make it more usable for everyone, I included multiple preset options so you can choose the one that best fits your game and vibe. (1-5)

Hello my sweeties, those who are reading my posts at the end. My friends have often asked me, how did I get such a beautiful CAS? And I was very surprised that many people haven't heard of the lalasimmer tutorial. CAS Background Replacement - TS3 - Vixonspixels

"That Girl" CAS background set by Vixonspixels on Tumblr and Patreon.

Information

The background uses a 2048x2048px image so it may slow down your computer and look blurry if graphics settings are not on high. Use at your own risk.

The CAS Room Default will replace the CAS Room, Create-a-Pet room, and the Create-a-Bot room. You can only have 1 CAS Room Default at a time.

The Stylist Room Default will only replace the Stylist Room. You can only have 1 Stylist Room Default at a time. Requires the Ambitions EP.
