PROLONGED RAIN

I ask myself every time

Will I still love rain

if I've to go outside?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Prolonged rain!

for a couple of days.

People are complaining

Problems- they are facing.

Clothes don't dry

Water gets logged

Some diseases got caught.

Waiting for the sun

to stop playing peek-a-boo

wishing the sun shines

without warm loo.

Still I'm wishing for

Prolonged rain

to wash away all the dusts

to wash away all the greys

to hide all the tears.

[To swept away all the memories it holds,

ending all cries and yells.

To make itself as common as other weather,

So no story remains with me to tell.]

It'll take some time

So maybe

I'll love rain forever.
