Dear Prince Charming,
I know the world believes you outdated. I know they think your need to save the world is just another way for you to claim that women are weak and your ego needs feeding. The world has taught them to believe that you are the monster because so many monsters have gotten away with using your name, but I believe you’re still out there. All in all, I believe you are a prince. A human whose made mistakes, but a human who never claimed to be perfect in the first place. They told you to hide your face and so you did.
I’m asking you not to settle.
I’m asking you to not give up.
Somewhere out there, there is a girl that needs saving who’s afraid of the mob of queens rising up against people like you. No, people disguised as you. She’s afraid to ask for help because they make her feel anything less than a strong role model when admitting a single weakness.
She may not need you to slay her dragons, but she’ll want you by her side as she does it herself.
With all my love,
Cinderella
