My name is Quentin, I'm a fictive of Quentin Quire/Kid Omega from Earth 616/Marvel Comics, in the Lovecat System. My system's main blog is @stinktalksmalls (go there if you're looking for X-Men content).

To start off this introduction: let me first clarify that this is not a roleplay blog. I, Quentin, am a real person, with real feelings, perspective, and experiences.

The body that I reside in, as in, the Lovecat System's body, is physically 18 years of age. However, I am individually 20 years old. In the headspace, and in exomemories, I am also a trans man, and I identify as such, despite my source not being canon trans. This is something that I am proud of.

While I identify heavily with my source a lot of the time, I am still an entirely separate person from the Quentin you probably know. To treat me like a separate person from the Earth 616 canon Quire is to treat me with respect.

I prefer the term "headmate" rather than "alter," "part," or "personality." The main reason I prefer this term is that it is the most neutral term out of any of these. "Alter" as a term originated from old MPD terminology, and is derived from the term "alter ego." Being seen as an "alter ego" is something that I am just not personally comfortable with. "Part" implies that I am simply a part of a whole in our system, which I don't see myself as. I am a whole being separate from the rest of this system. "Personality" is mostly self explanatory, again, I am a whole person, not a personality. Would you go around referring to a singlet as a "personality"? No? That's what I thought.

The primary reason that I made this blog, is that I wanted to have a space to express myself outside of our host's blog, as I am around very often, unlike a lot of our other system members. Now that I have this blog, I wish to use it to spread information and talk about my experience as a fictive. Fictivehood is a very unique experience, and I wish it was talked about more often.

This blog recognizes and is supportive of all systems/plurals regardless of origin, identity, and expression. If you don't agree with that? Get the fuck off my blog, you're not welcome here.

As a general rule, I'm going to ask people in bodies that are under 16 to not interact. I don't feel comfortable letting you look at my shit.

I refuse to censor myself, there absolutely will be swearing, rudeness, politics, and general bitchiness here. Also, probably some NSFW talk here and there. If you can't handle that? Don't follow.

Discord has been implementing a feature where direct links to images uploaded to Discord will no longer work after 24 hours. If you want more information, please check out this post by twilight-sparkle_irl. As Pluralkit and Tubberbox both use the direct links for images uploaded to discord for member avatars, this will likely affect these two bots.

I've talked to the Pluralkit devs and they have informed me that Pluralkit and Tubberbox devs are in talks with Discord to see how this will affect the bots. No updates as of yet but once I hear anything I'll update this post.

In the meanwhile, I highly suggest everyone to save alter avatars if they can. I'll be providing a link to an external tool that you can use in the reblogs of this post.

Just had a dream that a novel exists which is written from the POV of an old man dying in the 1920s in the form of diary entries and bit by bit it's revealed it's actually a closeted trans woman who was out during her youth and forced to recloset and now I desperately want to read it

You know, something that really gets me about asking random Jews on the internet to clarify whether or not they're Zionists or else? Literally no one gives more money to far right wing Zionist causes than Evangelical Christians. They may be 'supporting' those causes for creepy insincere reasons that are often as antisemitic as they are islamophobic (namely, a lot of them believe that Israel and Palestine annihilating each other and almost all Jews and Palestinians dying in that conflict is the only thing that will bring Jesus back) – but I'm sorry, who cares about their motives? Monetary aid toward the oppression of the Palestinians is monetary aid toward the oppression of the Palestinians; it literally doesn't matter what cosmology is being used to justify it. Here's a modest proposal for y'all: why don't you go seek out any and all openly Christian blogs, and ask them to defend their position on the I/P conflict? Why don't you demand to know what any Christian you encounter on this site has personally done to support the Palestinian cause? Heck, why don't you circulate lists of suspect Zionist blogs, where the primary evidence for their Zionism is simply "they sure do post a lot about how Christian they are, idk just seems suss"? This wouldn't be a very good strategy for supporting Palestine either, to be clear, but at least statistically, you'd be much more likely to find actual anti-Palestinian Zionists by selectively going after Christians than by going after Jews. And there are a lot more Christians to go after, too, so in addition to catching a larger percentage of the group in question, you'd also just catch a lot more anti-Palestinian Zionists total. Yeah you know what, I’ll take this one further: as a Chinese American I have been subjected to some pretty incredibly vile racist harassment. But you know what I’ve literally never had to deal with? People coming out of the woodwork and demanding that I clarify my stance on the ongoing Uyghur genocide every time I so much as mention being ethnically Han Chinese, or facing sinophobia. Even the racists who have told me to my face that I should “go back to China” have never demanded that I go on record about my personal opinions on the human rights abuses by the Chinese government and publicly self-flagellate over the fact that people of my heritage on the other side of the world are actively committing genocide. People have told me that the increase in sinophobic violence in the US isn’t real and that I’m delusional for thinking it is; people have told me that people like me have “brought violence on ourselves” by daring to have the same phenotypes as a country the US has ongoing political tensions with; people have mocked me for “eating dog”, and brought up my race in professional settings where it was both irrelevant and inappropriate, and made vile and fetishizing sexual comments to my face - and even those people basically understand that my opinions on the actions of the Chinese government as an ethnically Chinese American who is not even a Chinese citizen are basically irrelevant. simple tutorial on how to make those bottlecap buttons you see everywhere

you'll need:

bottlecap•soda tab•safety pin•pliers•sandpaper/file•paint/paint markers/smth to decorate with•clear nail polish

remove the print on the buttons using a file or the sandpaper

(if you wanna keep the print skip this step, use a cloth to protect the print from scratches when folding down the sides of the cap)

fold down opposing sides of the cap, to help add in the safety pin

bend the tab at a slight angle, insert it into the cap. make sure the side of the safety pin that can not open is the one stuck under the tab

fold down one side of the cap to lock the tab in place, then try and press the tab as flat as you can, to lock the safety pin in place (prevents the buttons from moving on the safety pin, if you like rattling buttons, skip this step)

fold down all other sides of the cap

cover the button in one or more base layers of paint

add ur design (i use paint or paint marker for good coverage and vibrant colors)

cover that in one or two layers of nail polish, it will protect the button from rain and the paint from cracking
