A Journey to another Manor

Rabbit had ventured down into one of the many labs of Walter Manor, as she so often did. She was so bored nowadays, with the workers being busy with new projects, Spine holed up writing new songs, and Zer0 doing… whatever Zer0 did in his free time.  She looked down at the rather elaborate keyboard that she had found, humming to herself. “This’ll be fun!” She started pressing random buttons, grinning as a portal opened up. She jumped in, bracing herself for the inevitable impact. She landed on her back for once, which hurt slightly less than the face. She brushed herself off, realigning her joints before casting her eyes around the familiar, yet foreign room. “Hel-ll-ll-llo?” // @staticspine I hope this was good!

Static was no stranger to sudden visitors– those portals generally popping up as they pleased… and even his own Rabbit was prone to wandering off into the unknown. What he didn’t expect though, was to have one pop up in his very own Hall of Wires.

When he heard that stuttering voice from below- though much more feminine than that of his own sibling, he’d recognize it regardless of the differences between worlds. So, he’d make his way down from a wirey hammock up above, his guitar being set aside, having been simply doing a little solo practice.

“Hello, I take it you’re exploring? It seems most Rabbits have a knack for that. You can call me Static, or just The Spine if you insist.” Nicknames kind of became a necessity in his experience– as things could get confusing when one came across… well, another them.

Rabbit grinned, bouncing on her heels as the familiar yet slightly different silhouette of the silver bot made his way from the wirey hammock above. “I am!! I was bored, but I already met someone new- sorta- I mean I’ve never met this iteration of you before- so this is turning out pretty successful!!” She nodded, cocking her head. “Static, huh? Cool!!” She held her hand out, eyes shining. “I haven’t thought of a nickname for myself! I mean, I’m partial to Rabs, but that’s not ne-ne-nearly as coo-cool as Static!”

I wanted to cross the Earth, but The Spine told me that I couldn't because doin' it in the nude wouldn't be 'Child Appropriate'! Oh. I'm getting off topic. Do you have something you would wish to do in the future?
