When only love could make a way You gave your life in a beautiful exchange. My burden erased my life forgiven. There is nothing that could take this love away and my only desire and sole ambition Is to love you just the same

The church is not a building,
the church is not a steeple,
the church is not a resting place,
the church IS the PEOPLE
"Our twenties are a process, not a surprise party. You don’t just walk into the door and all of the sudden your calling jumps out from behind the couch. God has put all of us on a journey and as much as we might want to dash to the finish line, we're going to have to take our time to let Him teach us what exactly that finish line is."

Project has been full of awesome memories. One that I loved was jumping off rocks into Lake Michigan at midnight. It was an adrenaline rush and fun, but we also had great conversations about God.

I'm in awe of the ways God has worked in my life during the time here in Chicago. I've seen myself slowly break away from my former shy self. I have been able to form great friendships with some amazing people. I witnessed bold steps of faith in sharing my testimony with people who I knew for only six weeks.

You, Chicago Summer Project, have given me a safe environment to be real and vulnerable as I have wrestled within, feeling gross as I share the ugliness of my heart, but each time I've laid it all out there, bringing the darkness to light, I've been met with the truth and grace and love of my Father through His CSP children.
Hannah, reflection letter
So then, what I learned this summer, my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, is to have a need for God, to recognize that need, and to quench it. Desire God more and you will feel His presence and faithfulness more and you will trust Him more. This is what God desires for us as His sons and daughters, that we draw near to Him and as we do, become more cognizant of how the world is meant to be and that we have a specific role to play which can not be understudied.

You have given me Godly community and friendships I will be able to continue and treasure forever. You have given me a green house to grow in my relationship with the Lord as each day has been consciously planned out to help push me towards the Lord. You've given me a chance to experience God's love.

This project has left me with countless great memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. From community night at the beach to great dinners out with this loving family. This project has taught me a lot about myself, and I couldn't be more thankful for it.
