JUST FOR STARTERS

Hey everyone!

My name is Gabby Vice and I am a connoisseur of all things noisey, loud, obnoxious, unnecessary, you get the point, etc.

Now, let me specify — I don’t mean any of that as ,”I am a big fan of movie sound effects.” I mean it more as, “I am a devout follower of alternative, punk, and indie rock and the counter cultures that stem from them.” I’ve been actively obsessed with music since the age of 10; starting with bands such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and The Used. I started frequenting local band’s shows around Northern New Jersey when I was 12 and live music/the scene that surrounds it took over my life from that day forth.

Today, I am actively involved in music as much as I can be whilst also being in school full-time and working part-time. Over the summer, I interned at an award winning entertainment marketing company called The Syndicate and loved every minute of it. I occasionally write for MetalInsider.com and have written here and there for other blogs. I have my own hour-long radio show on WKNJ 90.3 at Kean University, in Union, NJ. For my future, I hope to become a music journalist or work somewhere in public relations.

Let’s have some fun and make some noise.
