i know it's been a really long time and i'm sorry for disappearing :( i've just been living my life and engaging with radical feminism outside of tumblr (mainly on insta). but i need to get my opinions out there and connect with other like-minded women again

the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

btw this is maybe the single most key distinguishing feature of the terfy strains of radical feminism, the seed all the rest of it springs out of: they have absolutely no faith in the ability of feminism to actually destroy patriarchy. they do not think feminism can truly build a better world. they cannot really even imagine that possibility. they think patriarchy is an inevitable natural consequence of unchangeable biological facts, and therefore the goal of feminism can only be to mitigate the worst effects of patriarchy, not to get rid of it.

they can imagine a society where women get some designated safe spaces without men around. they cannot imagine a society where the presence of men is not inherently a danger to women.

no, i don't think it's possible for us to escape the patriarchy. this is something far bigger than our brain can comprehend. this is millenia of social conditioning, brainwashing, physical abuse to tear women down and force us into a role we were never designed for.

this isn't a disney movie (tho i do know troons can't handle any media above a key stage 2 reading level), we can't just all team together and defeat the patriarchy with the power of friendship.

the only way to live truly safe from men is if all men are dead. they're too far gone. but since that isn't possible, we have every right to try and keep ourselves as far away from men in everyday life as physically possible, especially when in vulnerable positions.

the problem with the trans cult is that part of your belief system is founded in fiction, so you start deluding yourself into believing we're living in a perfect little fantasy land where you can change anything if you just dream big enough. in this world, all the baf guys can be talked out of being bad and redeem themselves, like we're in fucking steven universe or something

but that isn't how the realities of oppression and subjugation work. when men are killing women every single day, there's no reality where we could fight back peacefully and learn to coexist. they don't even see us as human beings. many of them will even admit to it, so just ask them yourself!

i try not to be too judgmental of bisexuals esp if theyre febfem bc like whatever you cant control who youre attracted to but

For what it's worth, the video of the conference Trivers talks about in some of his exchanges with Epstein, was on youtube, and still available when i checked it out last Monday (2/2/26). Four days later, it's set on "private". Not surprised since the comments were starting to fill up with people making connections to the files.

today i just learned that male ballet dancers don't have to be 'en pointe' or on their toes while dancing. They dance on the balls of their feet. En pointe is reserved for female ballet dancers only, unless the males are doing comedy or drag roles...that's fucking crazy. why does no one talk about this. have you seen ballerina feet? why are women always tortured in the name of femininity? The fact that in order to be a ballerina means you have to start as a child means ballet is child abuse imo. No child can realistically consent to the long-term damage she’ll be put through via pursuing ballet.
