Film animation, projet de fin d'étude MJM Graphic Design Lille 2019-20

Here is the short film I made with 3 other student as my final exam for my 3rd year in 3D Animation. It is a contemplative sci-fi experience depticting a self sustaining mechanical galaxy, first showing the microscopic center of a planet to the enourmous entire galaxy it is a part of.

My tasks on this movie were modeling, planning, lighting and animating the tube scene, lighting and animating the first scene of the center of the planet, as well as compositing those two parts plus most of the galaxy shots in after effects.

Just a motion design exercise that is a compilation of the things I like. Movies, yoga, Dongeons and Dragons, drawing and old 80s vibes

I’m more or less done with textures, next is the particules for additional glitter and bubbles and a background in post-prod and we’ll be p much done :D

I've always been fascinated by this illustration by the incredible Jenny Frison so I figured I had to sculpt it !

I still need to put the textures on this but I’m still happy with this gray preview :D
