Tomorrow is the Game Center’s first big event of the year! Join us this Friday at 7PM to see old friends, meet new ones, and play the seven strange and excellent games from the 2016 Incubator!
Free and open to the public. RSVP HERE.
7 - 8PM: Each game will briefly present what they are, what they did this summer, and what’s coming next for the game.
8 - 930PM: Open showcase!
Along with complimentary beer, wine, pop, and seltzer, here’s what you can expect to see:
- A platformer, where you’re actually platforming. Finally. Set up the platforms and leave all that messy jumping to the super clever AI.
- Arrive at a hotel to deliver a mixtape; pay no attention to the talking statues, maybe make yourself a sandwich.
- A word building card game that combines the best parts of Scrabble, Cards Against Humanity, and actual theft.
- A VR driving game, and the driver has a mysterious lack of fingers. Perhaps the stylish post-apocalyptic world had something to do with that.
- Another new spin on the platformer, this one’s a ‘tapformer’. Only one way to find out what that means.
- A competitive mind dance set between the synapses of you, your opponent, and a fabric store fire sale.
- A game like Street Fighter, but if you could control time. Well, if you could barely control time. Also you’re a necromancer.
