The gym leader responded without missing a beat. The stranger’s voice startled him, somehow he didn’t notice his presence. However, that meant he had an entirely new problem in his hands, someone had trespassed into the Bell tower.

The monks informed him, no one had passed by them when he walked by the entrance. As far as he was aware, he was all on his own. And by the looks of it, everyone had the wrong assumptions.

Something felt off about this encounter, however, Morty couldn’t quite put a finger on it.

“This area is restricted for the public. I don’t know how you got here, and I’m not really in the mood to listen to it. But I’m not letting this slide by “ The blond added in a stern and clearly peeved voice tone. “We can do this the easy or the hard way, you decide. Leave now, or I’ll make sure you’ll regret setting a foot in this tower.”

   Why are humans so stubborn.He tried to warn them considering there was some unseen damage cause to the tower due to a mishap with with pokemon messing around.It was enough to cause a human to fall or have something fall on them.But here he was being threaten by it,because the other assumed he was a trespasser. Him. A trespasser? In his own tower...

“It would be wise to listen to me child.”

    He internally sighed.He can sense his shadow growing restless,itching to burst out and show the human who they are messing with.But Arata reframed Neoma from acting.This isn’t a fight...just yet atleast.And if it does come to that he himself will act on it.

“The tower is unsafe for you,and I need you to get the monks.”

     The monks would know him without revealing himself.This person...he isn’t keen on showing his real form considering there is no trust between the two.If he can touch them he can get a better read on their emotions but he doubts the other will let him move a inch from their spot.Guess he’s doing this the hard way.

Ugh, it was times like these that Koko wondered why the world hadn’t ended already. Sigh, he was just getting tired just thinking about these things. Thankfully, Ho-oh’s words did give him some energy back.

“Thank you. I really do appreciate it. Sorry, I can’t do anything if anything happens to your region though.”

   He hasn’t had a chance to revist the Galar region so no he has no clue what happened there.Though he felt like asking would take from the topic at hand.Guess he has to look over that later.

“Ah well it’s fine,you are tasked to managed your island  as well as the other koko’s I don’t expect you to leave and manage the other regions.Besides being Guardian of the skies means looking at the other regions.Hence why im even able to be here in the first place.If anything happens there I’m sure my children can handle it.”

“Yeah, I am. It’s my duty to protect this region after all.” Although he wished he was actually as confident as he sounded. Currently, the plan was to observe and figure out his plan and then attempt to counter-attack. He sure wished there was a better plan, but dealing with things he didn’t understand fully was not a good idea.

“Look you don’t have to fight if you don’t want to. It is my responsibility after all. Though if you happen to be here when shit goes down, could try to get people out the way crossfire?”

“?..By the way you talked about it this doesn’t seem like a regional crisis it’s potentially a world wide one.And if that’s the case tackling it on your own doesn’t seem neither fair nor safe so don’t bear this responsibility alone.If I’m still here of course I’ll lend a hand whenever its fighting or looking after the humans and pokemon of this region.”
