iâm not the praying type but iâm not above asking for it if thereâs even a small chance it might help so. every port in a storm or whatever.
iâd just got him home from the nursing home. it was supposed to be a simple biopsy. i didnât even say a proper goodbye. and sure it was probably gonna be cancer but like. a âchemo and waitâ kind of thing. not âhey we donât think this breathing tube should come out of his throat thereâs not enough space for him to breath because of the tumorâ kind of way. and all the decision fell to me so. i hope he wakes up tomorrow long enough to decide if he wants to live but never speak again. but after such a long recovery from the hernia surgery. he may just decide heâs done. or. he may not wake up at all. iâll never hear his voice again any way he chooses. any way it goes. this has been the slowest month ever in regards to his recovery. and itâs because this. mass. was just strangling him. and now itâs all happening so fast.
