My cousin’s body was found in a lake near where we live.

It made it to the local news and is all over Facebook. I’m so sick of seeing comments about “They need to do a tox screen”, “Lake rule #1 is the buddy system”, and “he was probably drunk”.

He wasn’t alone. He was with friends.

We’re almost thirty! So what if he had a couple beers!? ( It’s still inconclusive at this time whether alcohol was involved)

My family member is gone. FOREVER. From a tragic accident. Whether or not he was drinking doesn’t make this situation any less heartbreaking. It doesn’t make it any less of a horrific accident that happened to him.

Why the hell do people online who are complete strangers think it makes a difference? Fucking hypocritical assholes.

So I’m kinda devastated now. Amongst other reasons. But that album/tour was one of the things holding me together as a light at the end of the tunnel.

When someone gives the advice of “don’t be afraid to disappoint your parents” they don’t just mean taking music theory in college or starting a YouTube channel.

It also means wearing things they might not approve of. Using accommodations that they might not think you need. Not falling for their guilt trips. Eating when you’re hungry, not when it suits them and their idea of your weight or health. Making your own friends instead of seeking the stamp of approval from them.

Of course, some parents are stricter than others, and some use abuse to keep you from expressing yourself. But do what you can, even if it seems small.

Otherwise, when your parents are no longer in the picture, you’ll try to find it somewhere else to get validation. A strict boss, an abusive partner, a selfish friend.

Going against your parent’s wishes is developmentally healthy. Not doing so stunts your independence and self-regulation. You shouldn’t be living to constantly please others, even the people who love you.

So, I know she’s a Hollow One, and I know Delilah’s her warlock patron(?) I think.

But she’s spooky and she startled me.

Ya girl got gobsmacked by TLoVM eps 7-9, so started up episode 19 of C4. I’ve finally reached the Schemers table!

I’m so behind. It’s not even funny. Between CURRENTLY WATCHING TLoVM Season 4, TM9 Animated Season 1, (Finished the season already), TM9 Campaign (I’m like a 3rd of the way through it), and Campaign 4 (again, just tonight reached the Schemers table), you’d think I’m sick of Critical Role, but I fear I’m consuming all of this content at a rate that is unhealthy.

I haven’t even started Bell’s Hells or EXU either!

Niall definitely deserves more recognition, he's just so musically talented and the way you can clearly understand the meaning of the songs he writes, while being able to find it to resonate with you or be enamored with the way he yearns and speaks on the language of love...

Like he makes falling in love sound fun and easy when its with the right person.... I love how he never loses sight of his lyricism and sticks with it all the time. Its like he knows himself as an artist and it definitely speaks volumes on his music....

I wonder how this album will sound and I really cannot wait until it finally releases!
