"Dude, I'm like 6 foo-- who the hell are you?"
"I'm no one."
"That's.... real helpful. Wanna tell me how you know anything about me or is there something else you wanna insult?"

"I'm no one."
"That's.... real helpful. Wanna tell me how you know anything about me or is there something else you wanna insult?"
“Not even God can help you now. It’s just you and me, and I’m getting answers.”
“You want answers? Sure. 42.”
“Awesome. So if you could take these handcuffs off and let me go, that’d be great.”
"Oh yeah- I'm sorry what was I thinking--" He moved, almost pretending like he was going to grab the keys and then stopped suddenly and narrowed his eyes in utter annoyance. "You're real funny. The sense of humor of a 12 year old."
Kassie could feel the blush on her cheeks, that dumb schoolgirl grin on her mouth, and butterflies fluttering restlessly in her stomach. Sensations she apparently had no control over when it came to him,--and yet it could bring it out of her with ease. Something she'd be damning him for if she actually wanted him to stop...but alas.
He's so clearly amused and he knows that had this been a couple of years ago, she would have met his teasing with a smack but it pleased him to no end that now- he could render her speechless. He certainly enjoyed when her skin glowed and gave away the emotions flowing through her mind. "Something the matter, princess?"
"Hey got a present for you."
"--Hilarious. Really. Super original."
"Oh, no, I'm sorry. Did I upset you? Didn't mean to hurt your little feelings." Yeah, right.

"Yeah, and don't worry about it. We all have our rough days so your forgiven." She replied with a smile. She wonders who he was talking about and if he was new to working here or just looking gor someone in general. She had worked here for a year new and thought she knew almost everyone in the building. "I'm margo elliot, sorry I didn't catch your name?"
"Alright, good, I'd hate to think my first impression would be the death of me." He only liked the dramatics a little bit, mostly when he was trying to show off, which was evident when he followed his comment with a little wink. "Sorry, darlin'," He pulled his wallet out of his jacket pocket and opened it told pull a business card out for her. Fresh off the printers. "Detective Ramone, I got called in to help the local department dig into the string of robberies once the last one ended up in a death. You wouldn't happen to be able to point me in the direction of someone willing to share some details, would you?" He'd spent the last few days dealing with red tape. Nothing made him feel for a good hard-working cop than when corruption reared it's ugly head around every corner, and he didn't even have to follow the rules.
Another laugh, hearty and playful as she smacked her thigh. "You wouldn't even run away a little bit? Would just let me catch you? That's hardly any fun, handsome." Roxanne leans back in her seat, letting him ogle freely. She's athletic and she's dressed to the nines. It'd be a waste if someone didn't look at her. Especially since it was her last free day before she went back to work. "We'll see. I kinda enjoy a good bit of flirting first. The banter gets my heart rate going."
There was no stopping the way his eyes drifted to where her hand landed....and then a little further down her leg. Couldn't blame him, he was a leg guy. He seemed to realize that he was looking away from her face just a little too long, so he put on his best smirk and met her eyes again. "Not really sure running away from you would be the smartest choice a guy could make?" He looked at her with a raised brow, clearly showing that his interest was nowhere else but right here, the rest of the world didn't exist right now. "Oh, a woman after my own heart. Careful, you'll have me using all my best lines on you and I don't think you're ready for it."
"Hmm. By all I've heard I thought you'd be taller."
@ithinkmyskullburns
"Dude, I'm like 6 foo-- who the hell are you?"
He raised his glass to gently clink against hers. "Give it by the end of the night and you'll see that I'm not much of a runner. There's much scarier shit out there than a beautiful woman with a tendency to ramble." He tilted his head slightly. "What brings you here anyways? I hope I wasn't interrupting a planned date or anything."
"Don't look very equipped for running anyway. Boots and a leather jacket? Don't you get hot in all those layers?" She teased, pausing her sip at his question. "I was...supposed to be meeting up with a blind date. But he never showed up so nothing to worry about."
He raised his hand, seemingly slight offended - even if he didn't actually feel it - as he looked down at his attire. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with my clothes. Excuse me for wanting to stay modest." He could barely finish the last word before a quiet chuckle took over and caused him to need a moment to regain his composure. "Well," Dean's eyes brightened as he once again looked to her face, after a brief glance at the rest of her. "His loss. There's nowhere I'd want to be right now than right here."
"Nothing wrong with them at all. But if i took these shoes off, I would absolute catch you in a chase." Roxanne tapped her high heeled shoe against his seat, laughing. Knuckles tapping the bar to signal the bartender for a refill, her treat this time. "And what exactly were you doing here originally? Before waddling over here to make my day? Were you in this bar for business or pleasure?"
His brow raised, he had to stifle a laugh - not one aimed at her. "Sweetheart, if you were chasing me there wouldn't be much running getting done on my end." As it was, he took a moment to lean over slightly and get a look at her shoes, then sloooo-ww-ly let his gaze run up her legs all while a small smirk crossed his lips. "Oh this visit was all for pleasure. I mean, y'know, if you're into that kinda thing." He was nothing if not a gentleman, if she told him to get lost then he'd be gone.

"what are you really doing here?"
"Sorry, I didn't realize I needed permission to be in the public." He knows damn well that she wasn't referring to his location in a general sense.
"Well, i wasn't saying that you didn't need permission, however it would be nice to know who you are. I haven't seen you around before." Margo replied smoothly. They were inside a local newspaper where she worked and she just so happens to see him walk in as if he were looking got someone or for some information. While his manners left alot to be desired she almost did a double take as she regards him up close. Why did he have to be so gorgeous?
"Touche." He wasn't exactly sure that she would be able to help him, typically it was the behind-closed-door douches that were the ones who needed to approve information requests but... they hardly ever knew all the real deep shit anyways. God he hated those stuck up types. He quickly tried to back track his tone and put up both hands in a surrender motion. "I'm sorry, it's been a rough day. I've got an asshole breathing down my neck and I shouldn't have taken it out on you." Though, if he was honest, she didn't seem to be the type to let a dick get her down and it was kinda hot. "Let me have a second chance?"
Dean, we need to *go*. This place is gonna collapse on top of us.
"Didn't really have you pegged for the cautious type. You sure you're ok?"
He raised his glass to gently clink against hers. "Give it by the end of the night and you'll see that I'm not much of a runner. "It's only a trick if you don't like what you're getting." Roxanne winked, tapping the edge of her empty glass. "Brandy only. If I ask for whiskey later, tell me no. I get too chatty after a few glasses."
"You got me there. I'm not seeing anything I don't like." He smiled at the tap of her glass, raising a hand to call the bartender over to refill their drinks as he finally slid onto the stool next to hers. "I dunno, I like my women a little chatty. Besides, you really don't wanna make me drink whiskey alone do you? I need someone to talk to after a few glasses."
"Me neither, stranger." She raises her glass towards him, offering a toast. "You might be alone in that. Most dates turn tail after my fifth glass of whiskey. But I'll consider it. I was only on my second glass when you trotted over here."
He raised his glass to gently clink against hers. "Give it by the end of the night and you'll see that I'm not much of a runner.
