Realizing I’ve been around these parts for a little bit now, and never introduced myself to you fine folks.

I’m Udra, currently working under the cult of rakdos as a pyromancer.

I’m not actually from these parts, instead I’m from the plane of Thunder Junction. And to keep my background brief, I got up to quite a bit while I was there. So I hopped the omenpath over here.

Anyway, I do the pyrotechnics for our shows and occasionally perform myself.

But other than that I’m afraid there’s not much left that I’m at liberty to tell y’all. Maybe when things back home die down a bit I’ll start up a campfire and we can all take turns telling our life stories. But today clearly isn’t that day.

I don’t remember much from my time in that house.

Everything seems to just- blend together in my head, although I guess that’s for the better. I do remember one thing however, it was this boiler room. Far too hot for me to have stayed in there long, yet there was this strange girl who seemed to handle that heat pretty well.

I remember we spoke, once or twice, not about much.

She was strangely optimistic.

I hope she’s doing well.

As for myself now that I’m out ?

Things have been, surprisingly well. Got my old job back making fireworks for the cult, it was like I never left.

Although I can’t help but feel something’s off.

In a back alley, away from the ever peering eyes of ravnica. An innocuous door sits awkwardly framed into one of the walls of a nearby building. It’s pale white wood engraved to depict what most assume to be a regular moth.

The air is still, with the only noise heard being the passive hustle and bustle of the ravnican people. One would assume things are relatively peaceful.

But that’s never the case, especially not now.

In a flash the pale wooden door flies open, and out scrambling backwards is Udra.

A Naga who had seemingly vanished some months ago, now currently blasting fire into this unnaturally formed doorway. As they coil backwards their scales grinding against the familiar pavement of the plane, the door shuts.

By the time they blinked the doorway had vanished, leaving nothing but the mortar of the wall behind it.

Breathless and shaking the once fearless outlaw urged themself to run. But be it exhaustion or fear their body refused to do anything of the sort. Instead they slunk away, deeper into the alley, afraid for the first time in years.

Does anyone in this communication channel know how to effectively counteract law magic?

Not because I want to do any unlawful activities, but because my brother Kelro is a Hieromancer and keeps enchanting the jam jar so I can't open it!

I read somewhere that ionization of the enchanted particulates can help with dispelling an enchantment, yet I'd rather not dematerialize the jar itself.

Can anyone help?

According to dominarian lore, Big pre mending artificer planeswalker, caused a bunch of crazy shit, actually is responsible for the mending. He caused a bunch of crazy rifts with his shenanigans fighting the old Phyrexians which were like, really unstable and destroying a plane or the multiverse or something. Fixing those was the mending. Teferi and Karn were around then. Karn is actually his robot son I think. Did a lot of awful shit.
