Inspired by @randomdogma of the backup Ragatha AU. Its plot is very interesting and I wish the best of luck when writes it!

But I also had an inspiration after seeing that scene in ep9 and thinking about what would have happened if Ragatha had abstracted instead of Jax…

Short answer: Total chaos!

As a Ragathusiast and queer person, I would like to state that being written with a lesbian aura is different than her being a confirmed lesbian. This isn’t me denouncing that she can’t be a lesbian (of course not!) but there is a distinct difference between the two.

Lesbian aura is vibes regardless of sexuality and being lesbian is well…y’know, being a lesbian lol.

I will say, as someone who's dealt with suicidal people and been one myself, my stomach dropped the moment Jax walked away at the start of the episode and no one followed him. I started freaking out.

Thinking about how Jax in his mental simulation, touches Ragatha's door longingly, meanwhile with Kaufmo and Ribbit he basically pretends they don't exist, and the most he does is like look at them episode 6. Just an interesting difference. Sorta like he can't imagine bringing himself to pretend she never existed.

There's not really any computer brands with a similar ethos to fairphone as far as i know but I'd like to cut down on e-waste and if the computer doesn't have planned obsolescence that's better than just getting some regular computer...

That Ragatha gives the best hugs but it was Pomni who got to hug Jax

AU where there's a backup copy of The Digital Circus and post-Ragatha abstraction somehow Ragatha from the backup gets copied into the Ragathaless Circus. Absolute chaos there. Everyone is so happy to see Ragatha but question if it's like a digital hallucination but then decide they don't really care. Ragatha is like huh??? And Jax is super happy to see her. Too happy. Ragatha is flustered by the positive attention he's giving her and is very confused about what's going on. Jax is like never leave me again, and Ragatha is like ??? And obviously starts figuring out that this isn't her circus, and is very concerned about everyone and stuff.

Jax tries to partner up with Ragatha for everything and is very vitriolic to anyone else trying to approach Ragatha, especially Pomni. Maybe less so Kinger. I think he'd have a hard time blaming Kinger. Everyone else is very nervous around Jax because he's been extremely off since Ragatha abstracted and has been very very violent. Gangle and Zooble are always very close together because Zooble always steps in if Jax tries to go after Gangle, and Jax absolutely pulls Zooble apart in those situations but that seems to be enough for him to calm down enough to not hurt Gangle. He probably also used to act very unpredictably whenever Kinger asked where Ragatha was, and Caine probably put a mental block on Kinger eventually so he would forget Ragatha, which also pisses Jax off at Caine because he doesn't want people to pretend like she never existed but also he does want to pretend like she never existed. He absolutely loathes Pomni.

Caine is probably extremely grateful to have Ragatha back even if he's not quite sure how that happened and Jax acts better with her around but he's definitely still noticeably unstable at times and Ragatha desperately wants to figure out how to fix whatever went down.

That's just me blabbering on though.
