I’m not sure if this will be helpful to anyone, but you literally do not have to be a good writer to write and post fan fiction. Yes you will naturally get better at writing and finding your voice the more you do it but you do not have to be or become a professional level writer to enjoy writing and sharing fics. It’s common to hear people praise fic writers by saying their work is better than published books, and while I think this comes from a good place, that’s not the norm or expectation. There is also a sentiment that fic writing is “good practice” for becoming a better writer or doing something else later, but if fic is the only creative writing you ever do that is literally okay. Your technical skill does not mean you cannot have fun and build community with your writing, or that other people cannot love and find meaning in your work.

if you ever have an issue with me you’re gonna have to tell me directly xD by default I never infer any vaguepost is ever about me. mostly bc when I was in my early teens I assumed every vaguepost was about me, because I had multiple undiagnosed unmanaged Disorders. and that process made me sooo unwell lmao. so these days now that I am diagnosed and better managing myself, I overcompensate in the other direction. :] just don’t have the fortitude for guessing games, alas.

What does Wyll taste like when kissed?

In the early hours, Wyll tastes like apricity. His mouth is so warm it brings to mind the way the morning dew evaporates under the sun; there’s a faint and pleasant bitterness just past his lips, of herbal teas he’s made for himself to carry on the road. When he kisses, he’s hungry and happy. Maybe for breakfast or… for something else. ❤️

In the late hours, Wyll tastes of wine and campfire smoke. He’s sipping from a battered tin goblet and raising animated hands to tell his stories, the flames dancing in tune with his tales. He kisses slowly, deeply, and he’s content. His fondness for Ashaba Dusk lingers on the tip of his tongue, and it’s wonderful, and dizzying.

He is such a good kisser.

do we have any ideas or headcanons or actual canon bits to explain why the orb doesn’t start feeding on Gale’s tadpole netherese magic the instant he gets infected and thus transform him into a mindflayer prematurely to the endgame? or is that just one of those lil details that we’re ignoring for suspension of disbelief purposes
