don’t be an asshole to people who were first introduced to a popular comic character through a live-action movie adaptation.

don’t be an asshole to people who haven’t had time to sit down and learn about the comic version of said character and their differences from the movie version.

don’t be an asshole to people who don’t want to learn about the comic version because comics aren’t their thing or because they really connect with the movie version and want that to be their only impression of the character.

don’t be an asshole to people who dress up as the movie version of a comic character for halloween. let them enjoy the holiday and the character.
