Listen I generally consider myself open-minded on headcanons but my favourite, and the one I will not budge on, is that one night a very old, very arthritic Princess wakes up from her owner’s bed to see Firestar looking down at her. She says her goodbyes to her Twolegs, and Firestar leads her up to StarClan. She spends her afterlife falling in love with her family. She speaks to Jayfeather in dreams. Hollyleaf teaches her how to hunt. Snowbush swaps funny family stories; Sandstorm shares how brave Firestar was; Leafpool is astonished at how similar she looks to her aunt. And all the while, Princess always keeps an empty nest next to her when she sleeps, ready for when it’s Cloudtail’s time to join her.

ngl…. i actually really really love the newer warriors names. sure some of the new prefixes and suffixes are unusual, but it feels fresh! has a lot more personality or whatever! u can only do so much with the more traditional prefixes and suffixes. like fuck yeah i’ll take a cat named nectarsong or sunbeam or nightsky (actual names as of lost stars) over something like… greypelt or snowtail

funny to me how people are so quick to jump on aus or whatever that get rid of the nastier aspects of male characters (like lionblaze, ashfur, crowfeather, etc, idfk) as “excusing misogyny” as if making these characters better people wouldnt eliminate huge amounts of gratuitous suffering for the female characters in question

- Monica Lewinski for judging her when she was a 22year old temp sexually assaulted by the most powerful man in the world

- Ke$ha for ever thinking she was trashy when all she wanted to do was make party music

- Kristen Stewart for ever thinking she was dumb when she’s actually one of the coolest people ever

- Megan Fox for ever thinking she was just a slut when actually she was an actress being harassed by her employer. 

- Hating all the women who made a career out of having a hot body. Being is shape is hard, beauty is a weapon and auto promotion is hard work. 

- All the Mary-Sues, who exist because young girls everywhere want to be part of a story they love so much

- All the female characters I ever snobbed because they got in the way of my ship.

- Hating the color pink during my teenage years, when it’s actually a lovely color and what I resented was society’s pressure to perform femininity.

-All the women of color in media and art I underestimated so fucking badly for so long because everyone around me was racist and I didn’t question it until I was a young teenager. No one should be gushing about Ariana Grande or Katy Perry about “LGBT representation” instead of fucking Janelle Monae or Hayley Kiyoko.

I know I love to rag on warriors and their plot choices so for a change of pace: the whole subplot of twolegs rounding up cats in TNP and graystripe getting taken and the subsequent drama over who would be thunderclan deputy because firestar refused to accept his best friend was gone absolutely KICKED ASS and was extremely heartbreaking for me as a 10 year old graystripe stan

squirrelflight was a bad choice for deputy - shes known for acting hot headed and bramblestar only chose her because he has an emotional connection with her. having mates or best friends on a "council" that leaders go to for opinions is better than putting them in an important leadership positions. positions like deputy are lessened if the only way characters get to that rank is through their connection to leader (not necessarily their personality)

I think she’s definitely mellowed out over the series and wasnt necessarily a bad choice but yeah as nice of a gesture as it was for bramblestar to make her deputy to demonstrate his trust in her and make up its probably not the best basis for making leadership decisions LOL
