I did my thesis on eugenics and forced sterilization in Canadian history (indigenous specific) and the next cis woman to say that men should collectively be forced to get vasectomies for points on some kind imaginary scoreboard of rights is getting sent a copy of the records I had to sift thru of men, mostly indigenous, racialized, developmentally disabled, or poor men, being sterilized against their wills and often without their knowledge.

I once again must remind people that "don't like abortion, get a vasectomy" isn't the gotcha you think it is, and that reproductive justice means supporting people who are targeted by the state both for forced birth AND for sterilization and child apprehension, as they're linked closely.

This is Tingus and she is 18-19 (former barn cat, adopted her at age 13 from the Horse Man that lifted her from the barn as a kitten). She sleeps 25/8 and most of my photos are from when she first wakes up because the scraggle is off the fucking charts. But you are right, she is not grooming herself quite as well as she used to; she still does most of it but needs help; consequently, she is lovingly brushed and combed daily, AFTER I take an embarrassing photo. We recently got her booty area shaved to help with cleaning, and the reduction in poop hitchhiking is a plus. This queen has inflamed guts that we medicate her for and after two belly shaves for ultrasound checks, her fur was like okay well fuck you too and didn’t grow back fully, so she’s going for a tits out kind of aesthetic. She has a meow like a rusty door hinge that smokes three packs a day and will scream if you don’t make a lap for her to snooze in. She is six pounds and we are trying to get that up as much as we can!
