okay just for context dirty dial-up is a band i made up in my head consisting of four(?) people(?) in a supernatural world based on the functions of monsterhearts 2 :) also its primarily in the late 80s.
heather barnes on lead guitar, jackie clermont on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, nicole (nick) (depends on the day) pacius on bass guitar, and felix aderhart on drums and rarely, in overdubs backup vocals!!!
it gets weird when i get into the details because theres a lot goimg on but heather is a werewolf (shes been a werewolf since i made these characters like four years ago) and jackie is um enthralled to otherworldly forces (#my faustian bargain) (the bands manager is a herald of aforementioned otherworldly forces) which is a recent decision i made— and heather and jackie were like in love at one point but it was. messy. because of heather and felix (who i lovingly (so full of hate) refer to as “dirty and dialed-up” because theyre nasty and theyre evil).
these guys were originally gonna be likr a modern day band but i said “hey! i can put them in my monsterhearts campaign” so i booted them back to the 80s and theyve stayed there since.
ive been working on this canon for them for nearly a year now and they kinda suck but its okay
** sidenote: this felix aderhart is the original and is not to be confused with the alternate version of her in mine and garins superhero roleplay thing in which shes an evil bastard. i ported her in there before i had decided if ddu was going to go anywhere (they were misc ocs for a few years before i decided they should be a band)
