I know that even I tease and make fun of Idia mostly because he's kinda a punching bag of course not as much as other characters *cough* ACE *cough* but I adore him. The reason I do its because he's such an interesting character. He's also hot but let's forget about that for a moment. I can't talk about the lore and stuff that happens in vignettes because I don't read them I know sue me but I can't talk about little tid bits I know and the stuff from book 6-8 because that's where the lore is I think. Idia is such a sad character to me for many reasons. Idia can't choose his own life path. From the exact moment he was born he already had a life plan to work at styx and become acting director even though Idia doesn't want this at all but he can't really refuse it now can he if he were to ever refuse the role the world would descend into absolute chaos. Idia has no hope or dreams I mean what's even the reason for having them when from the moment you were born a role you don't want was thrust upon you and if you refuse to do it the world would be destroyed and it would be your fault. Idia's curse as well is something I will talk about. Idia's curse allows him to burn all the blot he accumulates allowing to work a lot. But if you have no blot the curse eats away at your own magic energy to avoid this Idia needs to accumulate blot constantly to keep the curse fed also he still somehow overblot I need someone to explain that to me. Now moving on to our favorite topic about Idia Ortho. Idia was completely unconscious when Ortho was killed meaning when Idia woke up Ortho was dead. Even though I don't personally think it was entirely Idia's fault. Idia felt extreme guilt because of Ortho's death locking himself in his room promising to fulfill their wish to Ortho of becoming a hero and exploring the outside world or sum like that. So he locked himself in his room completely isolating himself to build the Ortho we know today. When he finished building Ortho it really didn't do anything for his guilt which caused him to just isolate himself even more. I'm not saying he doesn't love Ortho you guys I'm saying he still feels guilty about Ortho. Idia doesn't want the Housewarden position another thing that was thrust upon him despite him not wanting it hell he even offered it to Azul of all people. Idia's only escapism from all this is gaming which you might all already know.

So please I'm not saying Silver is bad I'm just saying Idia is a great character and I love and adore him so please vote for him he already lost the choice to choose his life path don't let him lose this as well.
