if you don’t like cats you’ve just never experienced the deep and powerful love of a cat that’s chosen you. like if a cat decides it wants to bond with you it’s something that’s so pure and beautiful and unbreakable. cats are made of love and when a cat chooses to love you it will LOVE you. cats are so special and so important. they just pour their whole soul into yours and it’s the kinda love that never leaves you. cats ARE love
Bonus:
steve rogers + looking at tony
I thought you and Tony were still gazing into each other’s eyes
"If these books taught you that love is the strongest force in the universe, capable of overcoming anything; if they taught you that strength is found in diversity, and that dogmatic ideas of pureness lead to the oppression of vulnerable groups; if you believe that a particular character is trans, nonbinary, or gender fluid, or that they are gay or bisexual; if you found anything in these stories that resonated with you and helped you at any time in your life — then that is between you and the book that you read, and it is sacred."
Daniel Radcliffe
#it goes against the laws of nature to be this pretty
Elena, is there any way this positive pregnancy test is yours?
im sorry what do you mean harry potter is an auror you must be mistaken don't you mean professor potter who loves and cares and treats his students kindly and with respect
don't you mean professor potter who has tea every week with professor longbottom and every time someone goes "but sir, don't you think he's...kind of strange?" harry just smiles and says "i think we all are."
don't you mean professor potter who has stashes of chocolate he gives out if you ask and who never, ever, gets angry, except for the times he sees bruises on a kid's arm after winter break and storms off to see the headmaster about the kid's parents
don't you mean professor potter who is known for being loyal to gryffindor to the end, but still congtatulates the other houses when they win because he knows that they're all just kids and that it really doesn't matter at the end of the day
don't you mean professor potter who is known for being fun and kind and happy and everyone knows the stories, the first years whisper, and the fifth years just shrug because after a while, he stops being the boy who defeated voldemort and he becomes the professor who tells silly jokes and constantly tells stories about what he and the Minister of Magic, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, a quidditch reporter, used to get up to
don't you mean Harry Potter, a boy who was born into a fight he didn't want, turning his wand into a quill and teaching future generations of students kindness and decency and unwavering strength
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS 2002 | dir. Chris Columbus
“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
#just 2020 and quarantine things
You’re just as sane as I am.
I’ve sold millions of mystery novels, but my own death might be my greatest mystery yet.
Knives Out (2019) dir. Rian Johnson
Knives Out hints at the self-righteous Thrombeys’ racist views of Latino people and immigrants in general well before they target Marta and threaten to have her mother detained. In the film’s early flashbacks, the Thrombeys each referred to Marta’s country of origin as a different place. To one, she was a lovely young woman from Ecuador; to another, Marta hailed from Paraguay. Their cluelessness is played for comedic relief as the film’s tension builds, and Johnson’s message is clear: The Thrombeys’ ignorance is the joke, not Marta’s heritage.
