The senior heroes love Katsuki. He’s as strong if not stronger than Mirio. His reputation always rises “mysteriously” after teaming up with others. He treasures the arm armor All Might gave him in the fight. He sidekicked under Jeanist. He teams up with Izuku on patrol and they spend the time teasing and bickering and smiling and happy. He soared back up to 5 in the rankings because he’s got Izuku to chase again.

Question: Which character’s story did you enjoy telling the most?

Horikoshi: If we're talking about enjoying hardship and struggle, then probably Deku and Katsuki.

The two of them felt like they were always walking a tightrope. If they made even the slightest mistake, everything would fall apart.

Because of that tension, they were very rewarding to draw, and I'm glad I was able to do so.
