My goal was to catch up with jjba before steel ball run started to air and I’m just now getting to part 4 🫩😭.

Ever since the Superman movie came out last summer and dc fans were all over my TikTok talking about their favorite characters I got curious and decided to read dc comics for the first time ever. Ever since then I’ve been leaning towards dc than marvel and haven’t looked back. Idk why but it’s something about dc that I can’t explain that has had me HOOKED for the past 6+ months. I literally grew up with marvel especially the blade movies and started reading marvel comics 2 years ago but the only characters I could get into was daredevil and moon knight. For some reason I just can’t get into reading about any other characters other than those two. Recently I’ve decided to start reading the X-men comics by Chris Claremont and I’m kinda hooked but hopefully one day I find a balance with enjoying Both.

Decoding the letter from the Gravity Falls Journal 3 has been the most stressful and time consuming thing ever. It took me about an hour to even find the correct cipher for it but I’ve been enjoying it so far so I can’t really complain 😭

Valka and Stoick deserved so much time together. 20 years of not being together or knowing whether or not they are still breathing and when they finally reunite he dies✋🏽🫩.

After watching all of the bayverse transformers movies I decided to read all of the IDW comics in order. The movies do not do the comics justice at all. And if you are thinking about reading them please do. There is so much more information on how everything started and I absolutely love the way politics are displayed in the comics. I feel like it gives a good idea/representation of how things play out within the political world and how it affects its citizens. Oh and the character designs are top tier. My favorites so far are skywarp (mostly bc he’s purple) and I love blaster bc he’s like the world’s journalist, he questions any and everything, and we both love rock music so that’s perfect 😌.

I forgot to post these but I went to a comic con a couple weeks ago and I got some good stuff. They were fairly cheap except for Superman: Birthright. Although I do plan to collect all of Batman’s essential stories. Btw if you have any Superman comic recommendations please share.

I bought the first 6 issues of ed brubakers Catwoman and I absolutely love it. I have no prior knowledge of what happened before this series but I’m assuming this continues from frank millers Batman series she was in. Anyway I went in completely blind and I love it so I plan on collecting the entire run.

So I’ve read the comics, watch the anime, and the movie. Honestly nothing beats the comics. I read them once before I bought the set and there is so much stuff I had forgotten it’s insane.
