This blog will mostly be my mad ramblings about my fixations, my DnD campaign(s), and my writing.

I write, I draw (will most likely never post that however.), I cosplay. I do amateur photography, graphic design and am an unlicensed makeup artist/sfx artist.

No I don’t take commissions of any kind nor anytime soon. Maybe that will change one day but as of posting this (2026) I do not.

I’ve got a cat that’s the center of my world, reason to live and if anything happens to her I will be exiting this plane of existence. (Yes, you can ask for photos of her.)

I mostly use the tumblr app and queue feature so my tagging is not up to standards, I will not fix that, I hate tumblr mobile. The tag Ray Rambles will be my insufferable thoughts being blasted on here.

Gotta tell you guys something wild in the Chinese fan sphere

So some fanartist drew a “sexy” (read: booby) version of a (cartoon) character who is traditionally very non-sexualised. Fans of the character got mad about it because it’s kind of groundbreaking how that character is written and portrayed and this art totally ignores the entire point of the character. They demanded the art be deleted. In response to that other people said, well what the fanartist did may be distateful but they have every right to draw what they’re into. The two sides fight for days and each starts a harassment campaign and even report their “opponents’” accounts.

So far so typical. But things eventually come to a head and they decide that this will be settled by votes - not through a poll. Through donations to a children’s education charity via each side’s portal. Whoever can get the highest amount of donation wins.

And that is how this charity received over 1 million in donations in three days lol. Oh btw the “freedom of expression” side won by a landslide (960k to 40k)

TUMBLR ADS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO AUTO-PLAY AUDIO! THAT IS A BUG AND YOU SHOULD REPORT IT!

"This ad is auto-playing audio" is literally on the drop down menu for reporting an ad. Tumblr isn't trying to implement this! Don't protest this "new policy", cause it's not one.

Report the broken ads.
