Goodbye to Heartstopper. The movie ended it all beautifully. A little sad that we didn’t get a full season but I’m very grateful we even got an ending. Alice’s work and changed my life. As a young queer teen, her representation was everything to me. I grew up with these characters and now they have grown up and so have I. From a closeted kid, to an openly queer adult.

I also had the privilege to meet her at her one of her book signing events. And it made me so happy to be able to tell her how much her work meant to me.

Thank you Alice and the team who brought this all to life. 🩵

Well shelter is a basic need, and would at the very least allow them a place where they can get back on their feet. Food water and shelter are necessary for a healthy body and psychology. There’s also the fact that they’re people too, and a little help goes a long way in making a decent community. There’s plenty of reasons

It doesn’t matter how hard you’ve worked for your 500 apples, or that you aren’t the parent of any of those kids. in the moment you decide to walk away, it doesn’t matter why they’re hungry, or who owes who what.

You had the opportunity to help people, you had the ability to help people, you had the resources to help people. You had everything you needed to make a small, tiny little difference in someone’s life, and you decided not to.

Covid really brought a lot more people into fandom that would perhaps not have otherwise. Tt fandom culture changed the original etiquette of fandom. Then they found ao3 and tried to police that too.

(In reference to Tags) Don’t even get me started on how many people have their entire legal name on socials. Especially if you are a minor. If you’re adult I still think you’re stupid. But if you are a child and have your legal name on your accounts. THAT IS NOT SAFE. I beg, please change it. It’s for your safety. Have a fun online name instead.
