This is what he got for leaving the office for a break he knew he shouldn’t have taken - damn it all. Coffee, still hot, soaked his chest  and soiled his tie; he’d noticed his own clothing ruin before he’d noticed hers. Normally, he’d have been seething - boiling over! - but for whatever reason, his only reaction was a bitter eyeroll and a heavy sigh. 

                                    “Shit is right.” He responded curtly, shaking the liquid                                      from his hands. “You should at least attempt to watch                                      where you’re going. Are you burned?” 

HER eyes stayed down, trying to wipe at the stain with her hand. all it did was burn her skin and only rub into the shirt more. with a sigh, she looked up only just realizing the stranger was walking to her. she caught the last part of the sentence, and using her best friend CONTEXT ;; figured what  he asked her.
