As a matter of fact, if you consider how few men are educated that they can be raped and thus donât come forward about their victimization, and how the federal government defines rape in such a way that women cannot be perpetrators, you might start to see how this narrative of men as rapists and women as victims could be harmful for a subset of rape victims who identify as male.

And please spare me the âbut thatâs because of Patriarchyâ bullshit, because that doesnât seek to solve anything, itâs just a casual dismissal before you offer platitudes about how feminism wants to fix whatever issues men have without any evidence that it has ever tried to fix those issues, or any rebuttal to the mounds of evidence that feminism has often fought against equality.
So yeah, feminism, as a socio-political movement insisting on maintaining a monopoly on the concept of equality, is spoiled as fuck.
