Real deal facts, when I went to see Alicia Garza, the founder of Black Lives Matter, the very first thing she said was to give thanks to and honor our indigenous comrades. Black Lives Matter supports indigenous resistance, that’s a fact. But you cannot take the name of one movement, re-work it, and make it yours without also erasing the original struggle. If you have your own movement, if you believe ours has nothing to do with yours, why take the slogan?
