The super wealthy and their politicians are using religion to make fools of the poor and middle class. This is especially true in America, but is is occurring throughout the world.

Billionaires and multimillionaires are never satisfied with what they have. They all seem to want more. To get more, they need favorable business laws, lower taxes, and depressed wages. Less social programs like healthcare, food stamps, Medicaid and Medicare will allow taxes to be lowered.

But the middle class and poor would never vote for politicians who would take away these needed benefits, without being tricked. And this is where religion comes into play. The top moneymakers and their politicians use religion to trick people into voting against their best interests and for the best interests of the super wealthy. Poor and middle class people vote for candidates who support issues like religion in schools, subsidies for religious schools, prayer in schools and at government meetings, opposition to doctor-assisted suicide, and taking away others rights concerning birth control and abortion. These same politicians will drastically reduce or eliminate needed social programs, but people will vote for their religious beliefs even if it is against their best interests.

RELIGION IS USED TO GET PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD IS GOD’S WILL, BECAUSE THAT BENEFITS THE SUPER WEALTHY. NEVER VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE FOR THEIR RELIGIOUS VIEWS BECAUSE THAT IS JUST A TRICK TO ABUSE THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS.

Your children will not be shunned by others kids’ parents and your kids will be allowed to join more groups. This will help your kids to feel like they belong, which is a desire of all children.

If you are an atheist family, neighbors will not let their kids become friends with your kids because your kids may lead their kids astray. And even though gays can be boy scouts, atheists are still not allowed.

If you want to run for a powerful political office, you need to be religious. The more open you are about your religion, the better. However, you have very little chance of winning if you were openly an “avowed atheist”. Members of all religions tend not to trust the morals of non-believers.

Keeping your parents happy is a good reason that is often used for being religious. Going to church with mom on Christmas and Easter will keep her from being upset. Pretending that you still believe the fairy tales that she told you as a child will make her feel good. She will not have the pain of worry about your eternal damnation. This is one case where lying can be a merciful thing. Tell your parents whatever makes them happy, but never believe a word of it.

Being religious will make you feel better, especially during a major crisis in life, or the death of a loved one. This is the major reason why people chose religion, even when there are hundreds of reasons to reject religion. If you are not strong enough to accept reality, then you can regress to the fantasy-world of childhood. But it is only temporary, since it is hard to accept the silly stories of religion, and the make-believe god and afterlife.

Overall, accepting reality will make your present life more enjoyable. Enjoy and cherish every moment of this life. It’s all we’ve got!
