The ultimate accomplishment; when two people reach a common ground, common understanding, and share the same mutual respect for each other. It’s beyond the term “relationship” whether it may be romantic or platonic. Seeing the Golden Rule put into play, and witnessing it, is truly a blessing. And then you start to think (the thinking turns into believing) that there are some good people out there, level-headed people who share the same ideals and values, and yet, they still retain their own individuality. Everything is out in the open. Just having this type of attitude — it leaves less space for scrutinization. No egos are bruised, no feelings are hurt. It’s just, common understanding.

Know your enemy. Sometimes it’s the one right beside you. Sometimes, it’s the one you thought would never do the things that can hurt you. Sometimes, it’s the one you trusted so much. Sometimes, it’s the one you’re holding on for so long. Sometimes, it’s the one who told you “you can trust me” and “I’m always here for you”. Sometimes, your enemy is the one who wants to be your friend, but never got the chance to. Sometimes, it’s the one whom you opened up yourself to. Sometimes, it’s the one who knows everything about you. Because we don’t know. Possibly your very best friend - possibly yourself.
Love isn’t liking someone because they show you affection, love isn’t thinking someone’s hot so you go after them, love isn’t saying “I love you” all the time, because it loses meaning. Love is the first kiss you share. Love is the little moments when you hold hands& goof around with each other. Love is not limited to all the times you say I love you, because surely you can lie when you say that. Love is showing you care and being supportive. Love is the way you look at them and how you see all their flaws and still choose to stay. Love doesn’t matter on your gender, race, ethnicity or religion. Love is love and don’t be handing it out to just anyone. Save it for when you meet the person you’ve been waiting for.
