It has been 5 months without instagram. . A lot of things have happened since then, it seems like September held a lot of surprises for me, and no time to assimilate them into my life. I guess I have been in this transitional phase since then, many old habits gone, new ones added and a chance to heal and become who I have always wanted to be showed; I knew it was time to start a new chapter in my life. . I finally got some time to draw something, I missed it. Teenage angst from Shinji, u know... for our weekend. . Inspired on the post I did of him back in May (man... time sure flies when we look back at it). I also feel my drawings have better structure now, they are more solid and concrete, studies do pay off. . I’ve been learning hebrew throughout this whole year and I am happy to say I am slowly becoming a trilingual person to the point where I am already dreaming in Hebrew (which if you didn’t know, it is a big success when you can think/dream in another language; meaning you no longer have the need to translate in your head). I just need more practice!!! (Music also helps). . I am re-painting my room and holy asdjgadjhfgsa my right arm/hand hurts so badly.😭 Also very excited for Light Box Expo this year! My life has been consumed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. Promare is such a great movie, you can clearly see the references to previous Gainax/trigger’s works. The soundtrack is just in another level, I can’t stop listening to NEXUS  it is just soooooo good.

For those of you who have no idea what I’m doing these days... here’s a sneak peek. I have decided to include animation as part of my illustrations and oh boy: I have chosen death.

I won't be able to post as frequently anymore..., I am very busy with personal projects, commissions and client work. I am trying to find balance and joy making stuff for myself. I also want to improve my lines, no more "hairy sketches": more confident and clean strokes!😤 I am starting to feel pressured to post online and I don't like it, specially after this madness of productivity and inspiration I got some months ago... but just as anything else, "this to shall pass" my muse is saying farewell... i am 100% cooling off. I can't wait to find what else will move me so much to challenge myself further regarding my artistic expression.

Or who knows, inspiration may come back and hit me on the face so hard I won't even know my name.

And just as I said on my IG, If we are doing 90′s anime, let’s go FULL 90′s anime. 

This animation was supposed to be a tumblr exclusive, but I really liked it and I want people on my IG to see it too. Better enjoyed while listening to this.

I honestly have a special place for Kaworu and Shinji in my heart. If Kaworu had to be a song I believe he would be Exist for love by AURORA.  I think the whole song is so perfect for these two. 

The music sheet in the back is Beethoven’s Ode to joy, because I love to make myself suffer.
