I went to the hospital today after fainting. I had blood tests done, and my red blood cell count was very low because I suffer from anemia and thalassemia, and because of the malnutrition and famine we are experiencing. What's worse is that my blood is very low. The doctors prescribed me other medications, but I couldn't afford them because they were expensive (500 euros).!!!

So far, I've only raised €33, and I'm €470 short. I hope you can help me buy these medications, please, so I can get rid of the fainting and nausea I experience all the time. Please!

Pavel, you actor you - Babe’s physical reaction to Tony being in his home was the perfect angsty touch; and then Charlie noticing and trying to comfort him even though they’re still basically strangers? SO GOOD

More [Coherent] Thoughts

Another excellent episode that went way too fast.

Is it bad writing that the gang is surprised about Tony’s resurrection ability or am I mis-remembering what they talked about at the beginning of the season? None of them should be surprised. They all know he came back from the dead somehow. I did like how it was presented though. Alan vs Tony intercut with the group finding out was really cool.

I feel like I need to caveat my Winner comment, because even though he's ripe for fanfic exploration in a similar way to Dean, he's currently in the "real bad" stage of his characterization. And, unlike Dean, the show is not intent on redeeming him so they are willing to have him get extra violent and enjoy it. I'm okay with that because not every bad guy can or should be redeemed on screen. That's literally what fanfic is for.

And that reminds me. Willy. I don't want him to be redeemed on screen. I will happily read redemption fic that takes time to reason it out and dig in to his characterization. But for Babe's sake, I hope the show gives him consequences in the end. Also, I'd love one last confrontation with Charlie. As a treat.

I saw the post-episode trailer, so I don't think it's going to happen, but I am really hoping Jeff gets an anger moment with Alan next week. Because I'm not even invested in them as a couple and I'm angry on his behalf.

kenta's invulnerability really put things into perspective—the powers that present after taking the skill-enhancing drug aren't random. they are the physical manifestations of personality traits and/or subconscious fears, desires etc.

willy wanted some semblance of control over his tragic life, he gained the ability to stop time.

alan wanted to be strong enough and around long enough to take care of and protect his family, he gained super strength and youthfulness.

kenta has always been treated like a tool, an inanimate object devoid of feeling. his value has always been based on how useful he can be, so much so that he applies the same metric to himself because that’s all he's ever known. so is it a surprise that his power is invulnerability? impossible to harm or damage, he is the the perfect weapon—a knife that never dulls.

Objectively hilarious thing about Pit Babe is how Babe's super senses are treated like some amazing power, only to find out later what other people's are.

We have: mind control (Way), mind reading (Pete), time manipulation (Willy), visions of the future (Jeff), super strength (Alan, fuck you for taking the drug), invincibility (Kenta), immortality (Tony) and last but certainly not least, the ability to take other people's abilities and use them for yourself (Charlie).
