in my honest opinion both lime n blue would have intimacy issues

lime is catholic af (or some other denomination of christian ig but it reads as catholic to me.) they are not going to have a healthy relationship with romance sexuality and intimacy in general. coupled with their paranoia of others, and likely reciprosexuality, this is not good for them even if they are lonely in some way (i dont think this is stated i just think its likely especially considering they personify the reactor n skeld.) they never get close to anyone until someone else makes the vaguest first move, and then they genuinely feel something for the first point in their life even if they act as if they hate it. they truly dont hate it though, and are genuinely distraught by blue's death.

blue on the other hand is a doctor, and a professional one at that. they dont want to break their moral code, and especially not hipaa. but its inevitable that a person isolated with just 8 other people, two of which are already spoken for, for god knows how long, will eventually fall for one of them. its just their taste is for the absolute worst one, though the one they find dreamy.

blue shows lime kindness none of the other crewmates do or ever did, and tries to understand their paranoia and mental illness and help them with it, by even promising to rip up their scan with them. the two of them dont get to fufill this promise however, due to blues murder. the two of them trust each other, and take each other seriously, which none of the others really do with the two of them at this point.

regardless i think blue would beat themself up for being genuinely attracted to lime not bc of Who they are as a person but because Theyre a doctor and Theyre my patient (even if theyre also coworkers) I cant do this (even if lime agrees n views them as their equal) and lime would beat themself up for feeling attraction bc of the aforementioned issues lol
