@elyxiums
No problem, Red already has an idea of how to get her down. A pokeball had been thrown to the bottom of the tree, as he’d stepped back, and from it, had been released his Snorlax.
Just jump down onto Snorlax, he wont mind. He probably won’t notice either considering he’s asleep. Or at least, that’s what Red was scribbling onto a page, which he then held up to the girl in the tree.

Miyu had a vague idea of what the other had in mind as a very massive Snorlax appeared on the ground below her feet – at least, a very unpleasant image appeared in her head that she hoped was the wrong impression. Alas, her thoughts were only confirmed by the handwritten note on the page held up to her, and Miyu watched in bewilderment as the Pikachu jumped from the trainer’s shoulder to scurry up the tree, standing beside her for only a moment before jumping down onto the fluffy belly of the sleeping pokemon below.
That was a joke… right?
A small Pikachu was one thing, but was it really okay for a fully grown adult human to jump onto a Snorlax that way? Sure, Miyu was a bit on the scrawny side but – that was beside the point. Shifting her weight uncomfortably, she reluctantly began to inch forward, pondering the best way to land. Feet-first certainly didn’t seem like a good idea, so she decided to try to belly flop as the Pikachu had demonstrated… only, she slipped, resulting in a very awkward mid-air flip. However, with a frightened shriek she landed safely right in the center of Snorlax’s belly.
Flat on her back, staring up at the branches above her Miyu allowed herself a very relieved sigh. After a moment she seemed to remember that she wasn’t alone, and with shaky limbs she slid down to the ground, giving the giant pokemon a pat.
“Seems like I was lucky that you just happened to have the perfect pokemon for this situation.” Miyu turned her attention to the trainer, who now seemed much taller from her new perspective. “Thank you, who knows how long I would have been stuck up there if you hadn’t come along.”
Returning to her backpack resting against the base of the tree, she began to stow her book into the front pocket. “You must be wondering why I was stuck in the first place.”
The corners of her lips twitched upward into a wry smile at the thought. “There was a Skitty stuck in that tree. At least, I thought it was stuck, but apparently – ah.” Miyu’s eyes narrowed as she jabbed a finger toward the bushes where the supposedly distressed pokemon had disappeared earlier. “There’s the miserable little thing. It left me up there all day and now it’s come back to taunt me.”
@elyxiums
Watching with a rather uncomfortable feeling in his chest, Red watched her as she made her way around trying to leap onto the Pokemon safely, Pikachu, who was equally as uncomfortable let out a small coo of ‘Pii...’ as if to show his discomfort at the scene. However, as she slipped, Red found himself running forward, despite the fact that he knew Snorlax would be a great cushion anyway. It was reflexive.
When she landed, Snorlax yawned loudly, and made no move to wake up. He was truly unshakeable, and remained asleep, despite having been just leapt onto. When Miyu stood up, he walked over, and patted his chest as he listened to her speak. Returning the large Pokemon, he followed her finger towards the bushes, and he blinked, eyes narrowing at the thought of a Pokemon doing such a thing to someone.

Fire.. Fire… you’re like the brother Red never had but wanted. What’d he do now without you? You’ve literally saved his life by bringing food and drink. Of course he wanted to get something for Pikachu, so he nodded at that part.
Although… money.
His money was probably outdated, which sucked.

The blastoise snorts at Red’s approach, his touch; far from a derision, but the type of laugh that the pokémon had made back when he was even a squirtle, going from a high-pitched noise to the smug-sounding thing it was now. Before Red left, a fist was offered to him—for a fistbump.
Don’t miss out on the fistbump, now.

If Red wasn’t going to take that fistbump, Pikachu sure would. The little yellow Pokemon had been missing Blastoise for a long, long time, and had scampered down from his place aside Red, and approached him, jumping up to take the fist-bump Red had left open.
“Pika! Pika Pi!”

Cold Shoulder &&; Fire & Red - { Past RP }
@red-reminiscences
Here was just fine for Red. He wasn’t ready to face his inevitably angry mother yet anyway. He smiles distantly. His mother. Yeah no he doesn’t want to get slapped just yet.
Red points to the floor, as if to say ‘Yo here’s okay.’ and he heaves a sigh. Thankfully his hat covered most of his messy hair. It’s not as if he didn’t shower up there. Melting the ice made for cold baths, but y’know he just hadn’t managed to find a nice hot bath on the way down.

Down they go, a heap on the dirt-covered road that connected the Indigo League and Viridian City. Seeing this, Blastoise decides with a huff to come closer to the scene of the two boys, taking a place behind where his trainer sits cross-legged.
He looks to Red, to Pikachu, but says or shows nothing—nothing but the unflinching smirk on his features, a rather permanent fixture about him.

Red looks like he always does - aside from the two cardboard Pikachu ears taped to his head, and the red makeup that dotted his cheeks. But there was a sigh of relief as he saw Fire alive and well. Situations like these were…
Well let’s just say that he didn’t want Fire to die.
“…alright.”
Red’d probably be able to manage a few words tonight. He didn’t feel like writing out stuff right now, especially not in this bleak situation. Pikachu, as per, was sat on his shoulder, but he looked.. sad. Ears drooped, he was quiet. Particularly unusual for the usually perky Pokemon.
Then again, Pikachu was afraid, and upset that someone, potentially a new friend had died. The reality of it all had been getting to him, and so Red had moved the two of them to the Lounge where they could be alone without disturbance.
Fire wasn’t a disturbance though. He was welcome here. Very welcome. Pikachu was happy to see him, managing a small smile, and a small ‘Pi…’, but asides from that the Pokemon could sense the tense atmosphere surrounding the chateau
“…..you?”
Seeing that gloomy expression on Pikachu’s face, Fire can’t resist. He walks up to the pair and takes the pokémon off from Red’s shoulder carefully, reassuring him in a soothing voice, “Heeey, hey. You know you don’t look your best when you’re down, y'know?”
He gives him a quick hug pressed to his shoulder, and then turns him around so he can still see his trainer, but from Fire’s point of view, and arms.
Hope you don’t mind us stealing your pikachu for a quick second, Red.
“I’m alive,” he responds lightly, which was better than some people (one person). He rubs the space of head between Pikachu’s ears, finding the affection as comforting to him as it was supposed to be to Red’s partner.
“We found… uh, their eyes,” he shares, unsure if Red actually wanted to know, or if he preferred staying out of it. He thinks, paused for a second, then asks, “You didn’t see anything, did you? Anyone acting strange earlier in the night?”
@everflare
Fire, you know Red was probably hiding in the most quietest part of the mansion. Or at least Red hopes he does. He allows Fire to take Pikachu from his shoulder, and the smaller Pokemon lets out a happier cry than the way he looked before.
The affection given from Fire was undoubtedly making him feel better, and soon the Pokemon looked almost perfectly happy again, nestled between Fire’s arms and his chest.

Now Red wasn’t one for large bustling cities, and that was certainly what Nimbasa City was like. Large buildings filled with People and Pokemon. A huge Amusement park which overlooked the rest of the city. Then there was Pokestar studios which loomed in the distance. There was way too much to do here, which resulted in way too many people.

Oh Red knew that this guy looked familiar. He couldn’t quite place it, but it didn’t bother him. A human was a human. All that mattered was the way you treated other humans, and the simple gesture of allowing Red to come with was an act of kindness.
Red decided that he liked this guy.

Red was an adult, he could take care of himself. That didn’t mean Fire wasn’t coming to check up on eventually though, sticking his nose around the rooms closest to the crime scene and also around the body itself (pockets? empty), but going between room to room, looking for faces along the way— Red’s was one of them he was bound to find, and it’s a relief when he does.
Some kind of tension in his back loosens to see the other Pallet man, his “Hey” more honest in its delivery than he’s been saying all night. Door clicking behind him, he approaches both him and Pikachu.
“How you doing?” More often than not, Red wasn’t a guy to easily read his emotions on his face; but Fire was looking for the signals he knew, the minute details gone in milliseconds. He sits the clipboard in his hand down onto a table, sticking his hands into the pockets of his labcoat get-up. Smeared dried blood covers a bottom edge, not there earlier in the night…

That’s what had been suggested by his therapist. Travel. Anywhere, don’t care where, don’t care how - travel. See the sighs, explore nature. Take back the childhood you lost up on that cold mountain.
So…..Red was travelling. He doesn’t care where, and he doesn’t care how. He’s travelling.

A silent nod of affirmation from the other reassured Miyu and she breathed a small sigh of relief. He didn’t seem like the talkative type, which suited her just fine; she wasn’t much for conversation herself. She simply offered the traveler and his Pikachu a small smile as she expressed her gratitude.
“Thank you.” She addressed them both as she dog-eared the top corner of the page she had been reading before closing her book. Slipping the book into her pocket, she looked down at the ground contemplatively.
The kind stranger had agreed to help her, but how exactly was she going to get down? He was tall, but Miyu wasn’t exactly sure he was tall enough to reach her himself – even if he could it was a bit embarrassing to think about. Hopefully they could come up with a different method of getting her down.
“If you have any ideas I’m open to them. I did manage to climb up here myself, but um…” The corner of her lips twitched upward into a nervous smile. “I just freeze up when I think about going back down.”

Nothing? Nothing at all? Red will get a free pass for that, actually. Fire stares at him while waiting on some kind of answer, but that means really looking at the guy more: his awful clothes, his messy black hair, arceus, his face. Some people wouldn’t say anything.
“Alright, I get it. Man, Red… You look like shit.”
Fire wasn’t that polite.

Introverted || Event [ Open ]
It’s not everyday Red finds himself at a party. Especially not with two cardboard ears attached to his ears, and painted red cheeks to match his partner Pokemon. It had been last minute, but well, what else could he do?
Sinnoh was a particular region in which Red had wanted to visit, but he’d never thought that he’d be involved in a murder case. Some things were inevitable for Red.
Everyone had freaked out the moment Casper’s body had been found. Red had put himself in the Lounge, hidden in the corner of the room with his Pikachu. There was far too much noise for his liking, and if there were any murderers, there’s no way he’d allow anyone else to come near him during this time -- not unless he knew them, of course.
“Pi-Pika-Pi?”
Pikachu was right. He couldn’t just stay here all night, people he knew were here, like Fire. Maybe he could find one of those... or maybe he’d come across a stranger. Who knew?
Cold Shoulder &&; Fire & Red - { Past RP }
Thud.
Thud
Thud
Thud
Red’s feet thudded against the ground as he walked. Worn and torn trainers against grassy floor, rocks, water. He didn’t seem to take note of it, or much rather care. He’d JUST come down from the treacherous Mt. Silver, and the temperature… even though it was mid-winter, it felt… too warm. It should be colder. He was used to that temperature.
Where were they again?
Ah
Route 22.
Why wasn’t Green with him? He can’t remember. Green was probably busy….
Everything is hazy to Red. He doesn’t even register Pikachu’s careful and fearful cries. Red had no idea what day it was. What month it was. Or even year. He hadn’t bothered to ask, and Green hadn’t really told him. He’d just begged him to come down.
Green begged him to come down, and he hadn’t budged. But it was only a few days after, being today that Red had come down from the peaks of Mt.Silver, and had fired up an age old Pokegear.
He’d managed to send some form of message to…. Fire.
Fire was going to meet him in Viridian.
Which incidentally, the quiet, and subjective trainer was just approaching. He raised his head, and his eyes scanned the town. It hadn’t changed much. Layout was still the same. But things seemed… modern?
But Red didn’t know what modern looked like.
He stopped at the threshold between Route and City, and stared ahead. It was… such a temperature change. His head was spinning, and Red leant against a brick pillar for some sort of support.
….Where was Fire going to be again…?
Take a trip home, get dragged into being the escort of one guy whose apparently spent way too long in the high altitudes of Mt. Silver. This was where Fire was in life.
Except it wasn’t as bothersome as that. He was the same as anyone else—surprised when he’d heard just exactly what and where Red had been up to for more than a singular year. Training was always a given to Fire, probably to most of them, and despite the abrupt departure he’d apparently taken from Kanto, he was suspected him to be out there in the world, just like him.
Living life to the fullest.
Except, it was apparently to the highest. Highest? Did that work?
Whatever. Anyway.

Standing on top of the world [ Open ]
red-reminiscences:
Standing on top of this tower, felt like standing on top of the world.
It didn’t compare to Mt. Silver, not by a long shot, but it was because of the enormous, and incredible city that lay below Red, which made him feel this way.
Lumiose City
A city which never slept, A city which inevitably had so much life and passion. Pokemon and people, and Red could see all of that from where he was standing. The top of Lumiose Tower.
The others around Red seemed to be afraid of the rather large distance between ground and where they were standing, but Red was silent. No fear present. Instead his lips were slightly parted, and his eyes focused on the busy streets below.
Pikachu, meanwhile, sat on his shoulder. The curious Pokemon could not understand or fathom Red’s interest with all the bright lights and colours below. They were just bright lights.
He hopped down from Red’s shoulder, and sniffed, glancing around, before perking his ears. There wasn’t as many people here as when they came. It seemed to Pikachu that the tower would be closing soon.
The small mouse like Pokemon tugged at his partners pant leg, and the trainer turned his head down to look at him, with a raised eyebrow. Looking back, he realised that there was only one or two people left, and some were in the elevator.
“….”
To most people, there would have been silence, but with the arm extended to Pikachu, he understood that Red meant it was time to go.
The two of them walked back to the elevator and stepped inside. There was only one other person inside of the elevator with them, which Red payed no mind to. But, it was only as the elevator came to a resounding halt, did Red perk his head up and look around.
The elevator had stopped.
With both of them inside.
They were trapped.
When was the last time the female had made her way up the tower? Apparently far too long.
All the way up she was slightly bouncing on the balls of her toes. A small smile crawled its way to her face as she felt the adrenaline course through her. The difference between this adrenaline was she wasn’t running for her life. The ding indicating that those that were on the elevator had reached its final destination. Slowly they all crawled out to the sight before them.
