Hello, we are a plural you may refer to as The Key System, for now. We have decided to use this blog for our unique takes on plurality, and coining of xenogenders, and especially system origin, terms and type coining. As this blog will be quite controversial, we will share minimal information about ourselves, and use nicknames as to not give away our identity to those who know us.

Just to let you know, we also take requests for any of the things we coin, mentioned above. Feel free to send asks about anything, most of us love to answer them.

As a traumagenic system I want to share some notes we got yesterday from our therapy session when we spoke about non-traumagenic plurality as we think some of you may be interested in hearing about it ^^

Often times plurality gets written off as just DID or OSDD, and is often seen as only being a mental condition despite the fact that pre-colonization a lot of cultures already held a belief in plurality.

Many people will say that non-traumagenic systems just don’t remember their trauma, which can be true, but isn’t always true either. It’s similar to a situation where people say that “bisexual people are just using it as a stepping stone to learning their sexuality” and while that is some people’s lived experience, it doesn’t mean that all bisexual people are “just confused” some are just bisexual.

Plurality is something inherently relatable to many people, both people with DID / OSDD and without, for example, IFS (internal family system) is a type of therapy that can be incredibly helpful for people, and though the person being worked with may not be plural, many terms used are one in the same.

Overall, plurality is inherently fluid, in the same way that there’s such a large range of systems with DID (high alter counts, low alter counts, types of alters, etc), there’s also a large range in types of plurality. Some disordered, some spiritual, some unrelated to trauma.

It’s also important to realize that many people who just consider themselves “anti-endo” know nothing other than “endos claim to have DID without trauma” which is not only inherently untrue, but also irrelevant, as endos aren’t the only ones who experience non traumagenic forms of plurality.

Anyways, don’t mind the ramble, hope this is helpful for anyone doubting themselves or trying to figure out their stance on non traumagenic plurality ^^

i know we can't possibly be the only system like this, but it really does suck being such an obscurity among the community :(

we don't have a host, we have a complicated history being that our core died including a whole system before us, we're ALL fictroversals/fictrovects (simplified to fictives) and don't really know our system origin apart from that some of us are here for spiritual reasons. We also have extreme exotrauma where most are severely lacking in normal exomemories. it's hard to explain.

we have no plural friends because we just can't relate to anyone. it unfortunately feels very lonely to be this way.

we can't be accurately described as "both" multiple and median. we're in-between. we're not quite multiple, but median isn't fully accurate, either. it's frustrating to be the in-between of in-betweens. we know we could be considered part of the median spectrum, but we don't relate to other median systems, nor do we relate to multiple systems. we're too distinct and too similar at once for either.

our system is like… its own universe? theres several layers and areas in our innerworld, some of us are gateway, some of us have exomemories, so on… our innerworld is like its own little world! alters have their own inner friendships, friend groups, relationships… its interesting!

- switches that feel like you’re turning into someone else rather than them taking control (non-possessive switching)

- being unable to recognize amnesia until something requires you to remember something you forgot

- staying in the front for weeks at a time

- being unable to communicate with alters internally (this is so common why does everyone act like this is weird?)

- feeling like you don’t have any problems because you feel disconnected from them

- constant denial

- rapid identity, label, and appearance changes

- comorbidities, particularly personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and the schizophrenia spectrum

- autism (there is science pointing towards autistic people being more susceptible to trauma)

- disliking your system

- wanting final fusion

Fakers are not the problem. fakeclaiming is. fakeclaiming culture online (ESPECIALLY in mental health spaces, especially TIMES TWO in plural ones) is so rancid, it makes me SEETHE.

I see so many people furiously deny their own lived experiences - things that they literally WENT THROUGH and had happen to them - and refuse to accept that its real, because they are downright PETRIFIED of somehow 'accidentally faking'. theyre so scared of 'attention seeking' even though this fear makes them tell no one.

they put themselves down and fakeclaim their own experiences. acting like theyve been hit by a car but the broken bone still just cant possibly real because maybe they secretly got run over for attention and didnt know it. they hurt themselves, hate themselves, repress it, deny it, downright gaslight themselves. all because they are scared of faking.

and thats not a natural fear. thats the fear that comes when the community decides fakers are the worst, and give themselves the right to act like they know other peoples minds. its what happens when a comminity can suddenly decide youre a liar and plaster your face all over their blocklists and cringe comps as a capital F Faker without even having a conversation with you. its what happens when these faker hunters decide its too rare, you cant possibly have that, here are the rules, follow the rules, follow the rules or youre a fake, the rules always change, the rules vary from person to person, but you still have to know them.

its disgusting. and its hurting people. ive seen it happen so many times. and it needs to stop.
